Well, make sure to tell them to stop doing dailies once they hit XP cap. Would not want them to be accidentally out of balance.

i got my tp from dailies, ALOT of dailies, however that was my choice.

all my skills use damage modifiers so its the best way to increase my dps, but lets say for example you go from level 60 to 82 with 250% xp and regular tp, how much tp did that player lose out on.

questing while already level capped is a waste of xp for alts and so either your main class gets more tp or you get to level your alts up so that you can get your elites done and have a viable secondary class to swap to if you are needed to use that class or just like playing both classes

Asking for 7 days of 250% XP is just... too much. You'd probably have more success asking a bank to hand you a million dollars.

Imo, i'd forgive them for putting them all on weekends, because its a fair assumption that the majority of the players are free on weekends, not weekdays. At least they did make a backup XP event next week incase anyone missed it (as people have often suggested).

The main issue I'm ocncerned about is ping spikes across 5 servers. If they don't solve this issue before the XP event and people have to level in 8k ping, they're going to have to spam click that apology button a lot more times...

i believe festival events and promos generally start in Pacific time as well except siege and gm events

Anyone complaining that levelling on the extra experience event will gimp you on TP is an ........ . Plain and simple. We have been over this time after time after time that levelling on extra experience events will NOT gimp you on TP as long as you complete the same amount of quests.

If we really can't understand that yet after years of this same ridiculous argument.. well.. I fear for the intelligence of the RoM community.

On topic, I'm somewhat disappointed that it's not 350% as i'd originally thought, however i'm still MORE than happy with 250%. That is excellent, and something we haven't seen in a very very long time. Not to mention it's for two weekends.. that is just the icing on the cake. Now if we could just get a nice 150-200% diamond sale with a 20 dia daily quest ticket sale on top of it this compensation would be just about perfect.

It has nothing to do with anything they just like to throw that into every thread. Yes, I realize the servers are having ping issues. It's happening on Reni too. Does this have anything to do with compensation? No.. not really.

Borella, we don't always see eye to eye, but I 100000% agree with you on the TP argument and it sometimes makes me wannna REEEEEEEEEEEEE at the keyboard. You just hit max level and continue to quest/daily and boom problem solved... wouldn't even call it a problem. Plus you could argue you can hit the higher dailies faster which means more tps than you would have gotten on the lower dailies.....



I will never understand the "xp event gimped me on TPs"

The seperation of XP/TP questing is not doing anyone any favors, it is going to put more pressure on them having a level without a skill to match. Who ever's hair brain idea it was in GameForge to proceed with allow a huge gap of XP and TP should be shot, it is an old practice from the past that should be dropped. Amoung many other things Gameforge has done in the past should have some serious rethinking if they want to the game to prosper for years to come.

When Thalia (AU server) was operated in Australia with it's seperate contract the GMs knew how to grow a small server, they understood that a small server can't be harshly operated like other larger servers, many of the XP/TP bonus weekends/weeks had XP and TP on questing as well as Killing mobs.

This is an ageing game and as levels get higher the strain and gap on requiring TP also gets larger.. Get with the times, rules and laws and guildlines in real life change with the times, so should the management and concept ideas with-in this game change with the times. This is something I realy believe GameForge lack in when managing multiple servers. If they want to run each unique server all the same, then make them all one large server. Till then.. Each server needs a tweek or two here and there.

Who needs quests?

My champs ready for 9-bug tosh farms tomorrow. Going to try and get a few guildies' secondaries up for 70 elites. And maybe make some nice money in between. Tosh ftw

the +150% boost to quests EXP is really great. just to compare it with the previous, long-time-to-see, ones like +50%~+100%. plz stop complaining about not being x3.5 (instead of x2.5 now), dont be greedy.

also i m REALLY GLAD they didnt implement ofc TP boost at quest. this should NEVER EVER HAPPEN. quests on rom r precious and its the player's duty to manage them (i.e. to preserve for 2ary-3rd, or stop questing after lvl cap etc; depending on the person). in the very end we all hit lvl cap. but a TP boost at quests is abnormal since it will just make ppl have x3 time the TP of others just cause they quested during a weekend. simply NO and atop asking for it anymore.

First of all, thanks to the GF folks for the bonus xp/tp weekend and gift items. They didn't have to do it, but they did as a show of good faith with the player base and it is a really good example of how a publisher can reward their loyal fans and keep folks playing.


That said, here again we see another glaring example of how the sales team is so far removed from the game it would be funny if not so tragic. This weekend's sale is not horrible and players are not ungrateful for the xp/tp bonus. So why did diamonds NOT go on sale this weekend when so many would take advantage of it to buy reset tickets and maybe even some plussing gems while they are at it (even though the fail rate is still almost criminal, but that is another discussion).

I do realize there have been several diamond sales in the past month. Still, I am sure I'm not the only one that is hesitant to buy diamonds in advance of needing them because anymore it is hard to even justify logging in with the combination of game play issues and the persistent lack of communication (yes - it has gotten better - but it is still bad).
