common misconception: you have to be a high level guild to siege. Not true. If you want to ignore all the people that go for ties... even if you lose you still get honor points and that doesn't exclude the drill grounds. You can also put multiple characters in.... even if you lose. That is no excuse... not really.
No, you don't have to be high level to siege. However, you have to have a level 5 guild and castle. For some that's a fair amount of work. Second, you can only put multiple characters in if you have the capabilities to either multi-client or have more than one computer. idk about you, but I know a lot of people struggle to have 1 client open. Your internet also has to be able to handle more than one client open. Also, last I checked, you only got 300? honor points for loosing. That isn't enough to buy mats for half a stack of anything useful, let alone a full stack. So what, you going to tell people they have to join guilds that they don't fit in with or don't want them simply so they can get honor points from a sw? A lot of guilds have requirements for sw, so that may not be possible. I think this was a serious hit to not only those of us trying to make things for our more competitive guilds as well as for those who were casual players.
It's not an excuse, it's fact that not everyone can be fortunate enough to be able to run multiple clients, have multiple computers, or that good of internet just to play a game where they enjoy crafting.
