Diamond Availablility, The game is doing Fine, Suffering, or staying steady?

Ok so just jumped on each NA server to see the availability of diamonds on the Auction House.

Indigo: 50 Diamonds on AH / 1 page of Gold available ( did not pay attention to amount )
I feel for those of you playing on Indigo I must say. Ouch there is hardly anything available....take it the crowd on Indigo is not thriving very well or is it pretty much just a ghost server?

Palenque: 590 Diamonds on AH / 2 pages of gold on AH ( sorry did not pay attention to amount )

Reni: 1284 Diamonds on AH / 6 pages of gold available ( well over 1billion offered for diamonds )
Sorry this is my main server reason I did a rough estimate on gold avaialable. All diamond sales viewed via histroy were of todays date.

Govinda: 2486 Diamonds on AH/ 1 page of gold on AH

Grimdal: 2980 Diamonds on AH/ 1 page of gold on AH

Artemis: 5541 Diamonds on AH/ 2 pages of gold on AH

Osha: 6533 Diamonds on AH/ 2 pages of gold on AH

So someone is spending some cash on Osha that is for sure, while Reni seems to be one of the most gold rich servers.

So any comments and yes the amount of diamonds available on the ah will be different than what I stated in this post, sure there is activity.

Just from the amount of diamonds sitting on the AH I would not say that boasts of a thriving game, but I have no idea how many diamonds people have sitting around or when they purchase diamonds.

So what can the amount of diamonds/gold available on the Ah tell us about the game? Anything?

Yes I did do general look around on available equipment and runes but did not do much to check around on Stats/foods/pots.

I wish Gameforge would do something along the lines of server merging or character transfers with the AU/NA server clusters, I miss my Aussie pals.

Response to Indigo, The only diamonds we sell on the AH usually are scooped up by gold spammers. Our average diamond prices are 50-75k per and are sold in guilds or in trade chat and posted after buyer is confirmed - See AH history. I am a major diamond seller on Indigo and the demand is there but we like to keep prices well under 100k to control on economy from going out of control. We have a massive gold surplus due to the gold sellers buying diamonds for the megaphones and that has caused some prices to rise but its mostly same old same old for us.

We are definitely not a ghost server but our population cannot rival say a Reni. Be careful comparing our AH to a PVE servers however as we do not use ABL's to trade and most of our gear is traded via PK trades (free trade) and our AH is mostly full of Pet eggs and other unbound items. That mindset does carry over to other items as well and I have always prefered to trade via mail and in person to avoid AH fees.

Edit: Example my guild has no problem doing nightly Beth HM runs with 12 man groups. usually we have to tell people we are full. So I do not feel the effects of "dead server"

Thanks for the information Mrpushpop. That is stuff I would have no clue about because I only jump on occasion to check auction house, usually that is a good indication of activity of a server....but the one thing I do not remember is the fact that the pvp servers will be different because you guys can do somethings the pve servers cannot ( ex: ABLs ). Makes sense about how you guys interact.

It seems that RoM has a pretty solid community across all servers. Probably staying pretty steady, not really growing but not really declining.

Every server had diamonds sold today, did not check history of gold on any server.

So does look like we have a decent exchange going on. So all those of us playing and spending on the game should not be too worried about the game disappearing anytime soon.
