Its definitely nice that they're paying attention to festivals.

Although I have to admit, I chuckled a bit when I first saw the halloween RoM logo that OP linked. When you look at the logo without the bottom part of the webs trailing down (as is the case with the one OP linked), it looks like a series of cracks in the logo, and the yellow-orange colour added to that gave the logo the impression of crumbling and decay. Given the current situation, the whole irony was rather humorous. :p

I made a new account because I can not seem to get on my other account. The reason for my critique is, this is a company, your image is very important even on the community forums. The reason why I do not enter the contests is because, the prizes suck and you really should have a professional do the work and keep the quality and look cohesive with the overall theme of your website. I do appreciate the fact that your trying to make a Halloween theme, although we have no Halloween content in game. Sorry to cause such a stir.

If you're going to bash something, be willing to do something yourself that shows you can do better. Since I have entered just about every artistic contest this forum has ever had, here is what you should do when bashing someone else... (Btw, yours sucks. I'm drunk and mine looks better...) at least BB blended his images together to create some transparency

I think the logo looks alright and am glad to see them getting festive. The only thing that I think needs help is the resolution. It does not fit at all next to that high res/high detail dwarf right next to it.
