Title says it all. With Thanksgiving only a week away this is a friendly reminder to our German hosts that a double exp holiday would be much appreciated ^^ .

I wouldn't get your hopes up. Based on the holidays that have already passed and even the game's own anniversary, I wouldn't expect more than an extended weekend promotion accompanied by double diamonds. Just hope it isn't one of the same old recycled sales.

Yeah we won't be getting anything. They won't celebrate an American holiday with something as big as a double xp/tp when most of the rest of the game isn't American.

Heh, it would be a good time to give us a lil compensation for the mess the game just went through, but yeah, wouldn't hold my breath over it.

I'd settle for the event switchover - I never remember the actual event names but the one I always associate with Thanksgiving (despite the fact Im CDN and our Thanksgiving is in Oct lol).

WTF is thanksgiving? When I go to the stores it goes haloween right into christmas...I didnt know there was a holiday inbetween them...

It is pre-Black Friday day, wolfie, or at least used to be. Now sales on Thursday as well. Time to spend some quality hours in line, then mad rush in the store (not the ROM kind), then few hours in checkout line. A great tradition.

Yeah. I heard stores were starting sales @ 6pm this year.

gf has shown us in the past that Thanksgiving is not a holiday they celebrate. Not even a huge evil turkey boss. ;)

That's cause germany doesn't know when they were "discovered", and even though this is the american side of things, our hilidays dont register for them. Sorta how veterans day gets no love, which IMO should have at least an item shop sale or something.

Lol, most festivals match up with that month's holiday pretty well (assuming there is a holiday in a given month)

I wish the Autumn Banquet would start, or they'd say they weren't gonna do it (they haven't said that have they?)


I opened a buttload of packages last year and didn't get my Zodiac pet - Scorpio is my sign so I wants that pet!


...and towards the end of last year's event I was finally getting good at talking turkey :P


Thinking about it more, they can keep an Exp/TP weekend for after the lvl cap gets raised again - my main toon's way past capped out anyhow.

THey have. It's been said several times the next festival is snowflake. They're skipping alot this year to bring us the crappy pumpkin festival and the juice festival.

That's disappointing. 'Wish they'd just picked things up from where they finally got caught up and run them on schedule from that point forward. *sigh*

Suddenly not really caring what they do for added events.
