Yeah, I don't even know what else to say. Tuesday came and went with no change to which event is going on. Thanks. You guys aren't even doing the best event of the year yet. Frogster did this to us too, and we all got real sick of it. Event's not going up until it SHOULD be time for the event to be damn near over, and then leaving it up until the next seasonal event is damn near over and then finally switching it. Three months of the Christmas event is coming guys, we just wont be seeing it start until one week before Christmas and it will last right up until Easter. The status que remains.

Guess I did have a little more to say

Edit: Todays item is actually really good. THAT is an item I have no problem with. Still wish you could select one winner per server, but at least the item itself is actually long-term useful to whoever wins it. (I could really use it on my main on Reni lol (perm mount would be the perfect christmas gift for me - in case anyone wants to be my santa ))

It seems to have been removed. Several closed threads have received a very carefully worded request to please continue discussion in a new thread created for this purpose. Duplicate threads are usually merged or closed, to prevent forum cluttering. That is nothing unusual or sinister, and happens on variety of subjects. Opening new threads on same subject is borderline spamming, and yes, should result in a warning or worse, depending on whether it is innocent mistake or deliberate attempt.

So, this made me laugh. I decided to see if I could see the future...so to speak. In the address bar (up top of your internet browser) is an address for the advent calander that looks something like this:

The number at the end is the date, so 4 would take you to today's calendar, while 5 would take you to tomorrows. I wanted to see if Ripley had locked that down or not, and she has. The message there made me giggle a little, and put a smile on my face. Thank you ripley lol. Bad English grammatically, but I think that made it even funnier for me.

You snooze, you lose, wolfie. There was a way to sneakygate preview of future items. Gone now, Pit cleaned it up.

But, IMO, chest was the best item of the bunch anyway. DRT looked good, sure, but with 1 item to 1 player, it is meh now.

After one day of a really good item, we are back to ...this. Not even registering for this one. Not worth my click. I hope enough people decide to not register for it that a point gets accross. Meh, what do I expect from a Halloween Advent Calendar... trick or treat I guess.


Does the pit even work for GF anymore?

Can someone tell me the usage of ONE passageway rune? Why not offer like...10 or 15 of them? This is hardly worth it.

Is it possible that the people making the rewards have no idea what they are giving away? Why not give everyone 1 passage way rune, that way they would try it and want to buy some.

I think the designer of the Advent calendar simply didn't know what they were giving away, otherwise they would have rewards that make more sense.

More likely it was set up to run as the previous advents had and the decision to turn it into a lottery was made afterwards.

Woulda been nice if they'd updated the prizes to reflect the change but meh, mebe next year.


'Still think if they're gonna maintain this approach they should scrap the theme and create their own Snowflake Festival event name and layout for it.

LMAO! Well that sure is true! I thought there was some kind of in-game event called a snowflake festival or something, I'm glad not though, cause then we couldn't have halloween for 3 months!
