Since I couldn't get my message across by a rudely closed thread, I must make another one.

If everybody says 'oh well nobody is going to do that' then nothing will ever change. Its making a stand. If nobody wants to do it, then you should reconsider your arguement. If you think that nobody will agree with you, only 20 or 30 people, then why should you even complain about it?

Wouldn't you think that would make you look snotty or arrogant? Or selfish? No, you don't because YOU know that EVERYONE is complaining about the jewels. So stop complaining, start making a difference.

People have to start realizing, that major corporation were made MAJOR corporations to negate people from stopping them. The bigger the corporation, the more people it takes to stop them. And after a while, people start thinking just what you are thinking now 'oh well only 20 or 30 people are going to do it, it's never going to happen, better just live with it.'

Scouts were leaving, boycotting the game and boycotting buying diamonds due to the nerf in chapter 4, and several other nerfs after that. How far did that get scouts? Absolutely nowhere. And that represented a large fraction of the Scout population, probably even the game's population.

A forum thread is not going to make a such a large fraction of players stop buying Plussing Jewels, period.

I'd disagree that the players are doing nothing though. A lot of posts have made it VERY clear that people's dislike of plussing jewels have caused them to use less jewels, buy less diamonds, or even quit the game altogether and recommend other NOT to try the game. This all ends in less profit for GF. But getting a large portion of the playerbase to quit using it completely is simply absurd and is more idealistic than practical.

In the end, I highly doubt they'll change it either way. They weren't even willing to balance Scouts properly to prevent a massive portion of their population from leaving.

Showing disapproval and Letting them know you won't take it are two completely separate things.

And I'm not telling people to do anything, I'm just informing people on what you HAVE to do if you want it to change. Otherwise it never will. Guarantee it. Your own examples apply to mine.

If a member of the team closes a thread, there is probably a good reason and I will stand by them.
Also, if you have an issue with it being closed, reopening another to voice your opinion as to how or why you feel it shouldn't have been is not the course of action to take. Might I suggest you PM the team member and take it up with them privately.

For the reasons listed above, I will now close this as well.
