spend those phirius shells!

Looks like Snowflake festival patch is going to get rid of lvl 85 items, so if you want 'em buy 'em now.

It would help to provide some relevant details, no?

Level 85 items have been removed: The Phirius Archeologists do not hand out level 85 items anymore for the time being.

Very funny, ROM. I can understand that they were not ready, really, but still... Localization issues aside, it was nice to have them. I guess the Disorder stats go back to 300, right?

And what is with short festival? Sure, nobody likes Juice much, and everyone was griping that we want Snowflake before Christmas. Still...

To all those people who were saying that we get Snowflake and I was saying you are crazy if you think they will take Juice away so fast, you were right and I was wrong.

Ok... stupid question, since I have no time to investigate:

Is Ancient Treasure easier on low side or harder? I know mobs scale to level, does aggro range go up or down or remain same?

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.

At least i'm glad they announced it unlike the honor point fiasco.

So what will happen to the current 85gear already purchased along with the stats? Will the existing gear have the stat named and left alone or is everyone that already used the 85 stats going to have to watch them disappear as well?

If they magically vanish as such as stated I feel bad for all those that quickly stated their gear with these stats.

So is there any point in trying to purchase these stats till after this patch?

Just the item offers from the vendor are affected. They simply won't sell the level85 items anymore.

Maybe it is just a really big patch lol. I doubt they'll include a new map with it, if so, they wouldn't take out the level 85 items. Most likely is either a big patch or some other random thing that they were too busy this morning to give a detailed explanation.

Dunnoes why they even done did try fer the juice fest. Things do be lookin messy, hope that Gameforge done can get things back on schedule wit this patch. removin the lvl 85 items tis gonner create some interestin economics, jus when things twere gettin back ter normal. One thumb up fer a timely winter fest, two thumbs down fer juice fest an removal o 85 items.

They usually patch in content first and then enable it later as a way of offloading a heavy bandwidth surge for a level cap increase. If you look at romwelten they had a tremendous amount of info regarding new zones when chrysalia was released as it included the map details for a few zones beyond that. Which is why you can already look at new 85 items with itempreview since the data is in the game already, just not enabled.
A real sysadmin knows how to change the time.
If you make the same mistake while trying to make up for the previous one, you are doing something wrong.

As much as I'd love to say I offer consulting services, the scope of things broken is too large.

What's going to happen to the stats that people have already used? Gear that is laying around waiting for a cap raise? Will players get to the this stuff or will it be removed also? If it is removed will there be reimbursement for item shop items spent? I can live with shells being gone, but item shop items is another story.

If I'm reading what Saito is saying correctly, literally nothing will change with what you already have, you just will not be able to buy more (currently), as the vendor will not be selling it (currently).

As a precaution however, I will be screenshotting the gear I have already statted with the new (sys-nameless) stats, as well as screenshotting the (sys-nameless) stat pulls I have sitting in my backpack, and hope that that is enough proof, should an issue arise.

if i understand it correctly, it will work exactly how they change the shells pulls and honor point gear when they update it...

vendor simply stops selling, but all existing items are not effected...

So absolutely confirmed that if you get a stat and you put it on gear/stone it bla bla, it definitely will remain in inventory/gear just the vendor will no longer offer the 85 items?

in case their are people waiting to get home from work, etc to find out about the patch:

No new map, no level cap raise---Yippie! still not done with some chars

Level 85 items not being sold at p shell merch--- it is like it was before the juice festival

The level 85 stats we had are still in our bank, the stats on our items still are there. They now have names!

Juice Festival gone, Snowflake Festival is in. Thank goodness I stayed up almost all night, got my gf her juice girl coat and 3 legendaries for the chars that needed them.

Figured I would answer these questions for people not able to log in yet.

Thanks, Dkjester. Looks like festival is about the same as it was before - at least so far I see no differences.

L85 gear still has localization problem (not a big deal), the new stats are "of the Fjord" for those searching in AH. The prices are back to pre-6.0.4, so still 300 shells for disorder. Otherwise, nothing new.
