yes this is a false information about universal potion. you cant spam it, the potion has a cooldown. Sacred Phoenix on the other hand does not have CD. One example of a person spamming sacred phoenix that I have encountered was that ch/r in Palenque. He was just too rich. Also in regards to zidlef's comments about eggrice, GM does not choose whether what kind of players you are for handouts, they do not give favors. Also, you are very confusing. When someone rant something about in the forums, you keep telling them to suck it up, life is unfair. And yet you rant some nonsense like endgamers control the market etc. Who else controls them? should we also tell you to suck it up and life is not fair? anyway, just making a point

To clear the confusion completely.... as stated several times already in this thread, Universal Potions DO have a cooldown and CAN NOT be spammed.

30 Seconds is not a very long cool down time...

Also for the people that are saying "Stop QQ they will run out"
Based off of the picture that JGuy posted

Does not say that these potions are bound... meaning all of the people that bring numerous alts to the GM events(which is obvious when server pop goes from 40 to 300 toons at an event) People will not simply run out so soon.
Unless they cannot be traded? that I do not know since we never received any.

Given that Universal pots are pretty much a phirus pot I see no reason to make them usable in siege war. No you can't spam them, but as stated not every server got them for whatever reason. I mean, while I'm grateful for what we did get, we pretty much got the shaft as far as universal pots go. As is when you get a govinda vs any other server match up, the govinda guild has a clear disadvantage.

Either make up for the missed out on event or disable their use in siege. We don't need them removed from game even though there are people who manage to gather thousands of them via alts.

I don't want RW going in and trying to program something to do with those potions just for siege. I mean look they broke the D/wdn magic buff and they weren't even working on Druids when they did it!! So I don't want them digging around to fix something that honesly doesn't need a fix. You say it does need a fix because "people got thousands"... that is simple not true.

Saito said he made sure not give them out to characters under a certain level to prevent the alt storm. Ok so that means someone would have to have already leveled alts to get more than 30. Ok I am pretty sure if he say characters named Dailyquestthree, etc he would have skipped those too. Therefore the alts would have had to be of decent level AND not have a suspicious name. Saito is pretty on the ball with such things and was actively looking to make sure not to spread it out to alts as best he could. He even stated as much... I think on Artemis.

Now for someone to have ONE thousand, not even the THOUSANDS that you claim, at 30 per character, that is 33 characters of high enough level to not be suspicious and with names to not be suspicious. Now also there wasn't enough time for people to make new characters with a unique name, level them up and get there 33 times before the event ended. So really, there are only so many each person probably got. I also didn't see THAT many people on artemis there to justify that there were multiple people that got THOUSANDS!. YOu are exaggerating the issue, cause you just don't like people using them. it is NOT like ERDs that had been given out for hours, multiple times over YEARS.

Lets say someone got 500, and you say they pop 7 just in one engagement in siege, assume they maybe have 20 engagements like that per siege, that is 140 per siege. 1000 of the potions would be gone in 7-8 sieges. That is assuming what everyone is saying that people become potion happy with them.

I really just don't see the need for RW to have to dig around in the coding, possibly breaking something else, for an issue that will resolve itself in a short period of time (assuming no new ones are given out). I mean cmon it is ONLY siege.

a) the pots are not bound, some people sell them.

b) I really believe I did not give out "thousands" to a single player. The math for that does not add up. 100 players times 3 having received gifts would make 9000 potions *on the whole server* because its a stack of 30 each time. Compare that with "thousands on a single player". Also, see a).

c) the first three servers that were visited during the christmas event did not get the second half of the items
the reason is simple: The second half of the list of items was just made at the day of the fourth visit. I alone was unable to visit all servers *twice* to give out one half of the items *per visit* as it was done on EU. Simply for the reason that I'm the only one from the US team who could spawn them, and I need to sleep too, I am human after all.

d) No I didn't manage to visit Osha Govinda and Indigo again so far, simply because I am human too. The last plan was: I'll try to between Christmas and New Year. As you may have noticed, that did not work out. And while " I love it when a plan comes together" ( ;) ), some plans do not survive the first enemy contact. In this case, the enemy is called "time". New plan: Add them on the next GM event for those three servers. Alternative plan: Come up with a GM event that includes the items for these three servers.

e) when d) ? Soon. Or: When it's done.

f) Have a nice day.

g-z) I ran out of ideas what to write here.

I remember bringing all two of my alts into the event and don't feel ashamed to admit it. Because both of my alts are active characters and not just storage/daily quest mules.

As mentioned, I feel that Phirius Pots should be used in SW. I don't see why not. Makes people run all the one time per day events to get more, therefore engaging the population more. Maybe prohibit the 50's and 60% ones from being used, but I don't see the major harm in allowing the 20% and 30% Phirius pots in SW. I also don't see the harm in letting the Universal Pots in SW. Egg Rice Dumplings already throw off the balance for people that don't have them. Just like every other GM item. So if you prohibit Universal Pots, we should prohibit Egg Rice, Little Magic Biscuit and all the other GM only items that have been handed out (Which will never happen).

So, quoteth myself: Kwitcherbitchen.

This is the first time I have even heard of these potions, let alone seeing what they do O.O -- btw I'm on Indigo so fighting anyone possessing these is like saying "artemis (and other server) players can buy and use phoenix redemptions but Indigo players can't. have fun in siege" These are too stronk. I don't think they should be allowed in sw -- try killing a 400k hp player when both them and their healer are using these dumb pots. Enjoy.

They should allow phirius mp pots only, that way if I live for more then 5 minutes of fighting I actually have mana to continue attacking >.>

that is what holy tree towers, upgraded to give mana, in an invisibility tower is for ;)

The holy trees (and any other tower for that matter) are hard to keep alive when you get in gigantic group fights and bunch of enemies are using aoe skills.

With that said, I will try using them to augment my crafted and merchant mp pots sometime down the road. Running out of mana sux when you take 15 hits to kill people with a tier 7 1h axe

Had a siege with several enemies that were 400k+ hp...
sucks when you think you have this 400k+ hp Wdn/war almost dead and then they pop to 100% again lol

Yay, raced home for nothing. Got treated like crap at work, and nothing for here.

Can we get rid of uni pots? I think they are unfair in siege, considering you can't use phirius pots.

I think it really only make a difference in endgame sieges, and even then, only if there aren't enough healers. In any other siege you just one-shot the opponent.

Universal pots are pretty big in large sieges (ppk, bteam, ec, heretic etc) Even without a healer they can have a huge impact. Somebody taken down to 50k of their 500-600k hp and all of a sudden back to full health can make things very....interesting. In the siege vid with Corruption V's Bteam, Sereal almost killed Magio 1 v 2 near the end on the bridge, until magio used 1 of his 450 Univeral potions lol, thats just 1 example.

Would like to know how ppk (or artimis in general) got that many universal pots though... got very few on gov and they are in AH for 2-3m ea >.>

I wonder how much uni pots go for over there. Although Magio has an older video for BelaH where he was at gold cap lol, so its not impossible that he might have bought them from the AH/
