I always tought Phirius potions should be usable in siege, why not? i paid diamonds/p-tokens for them, everyone can get free ones if they do their minigames, so F2P can't complain, everyone has access to them. Make them usable in siege, i would love to get rid of mine in siege

if they made those useable in siege anyone with over 400-500k hp would be virtually unkillable between immunes, phirius pots, universal pots, healers, cds,

it would be like fighting someone with unlimited sacred pheonixes... and a macro for it XD

i dont think you would even want to fight someone for 60 minutes straight never killing em XD

All food and potions should simply be disabled in SW except for those that you can buy from siege. Skills, and in siege items only.

That's how it should have been from the start Darwec. Would have made siege 50 times better than it is now. Put in mem type foods from vendor. Where you start with a certain amount of a currency to buy foods and as you contribute to the siege you obtain even more. Would take siege and strategy to a whole new level....rather than the "who can buff the most, wins the most"
Cammo (82 M/82 W/82 R) 116,147 unbuffed Matk :D (95k pa - r/m)
Livia (82 P/77 K/75 S) wisdom O.o wtf is that...

It's not "who buffs the most", it's "who has the most time/money".

I also agree with this. Buffs being purchased with merits seems to be a good strategy and I think folks would win at. Makes the mid balloons a key strategic point in the battlefield and the possibility that the flame and electric towers would become more useful. Make the farm upgrades mean you can get more or more powerful buffs. Never any items which increase stats by a flat % (such as Unicorn or Heros) but rather buffs which increase like the mem foods do. Also allow more powerful healing pots to be purchased IN siege, all other pots become unusable.

FTR you can already buy some buffs with merits. Battle time and assault time, there is also food for healing like hp herbs /ppots, just siege specific. CHeck ur farm and the other buildings.

yeap darwec, the problem is the consumables that are brought into siege are just kinda popped like candy, as they are easier to use...
my r/p can outdps r/m. your name is stupid.

and the issue with those healing herbs is that when players can buff to 500k+ hp......what is 500 hp with a small HoT etc going to do? Its the same as the arena reward...it still gives level 50 items. So many things in this game are still stuck at level 50 and the developers havn't been bothered updating everything for the current level cap and gear meta.

It's not "who buffs the most", it's "who has the most time/money".

How are these not the same? Those with the time and/or money will have the buffs.

Let them use them in siege. Seems like a waste to me. I believe they will be much more helpful in pve.

That may be true Pushpop, but some guilds in particular seem to have thousands and thousands of buff items/foods that others don't. The guild we v'sed in siege 2 days ago were spaming Laor Forest Tarts when ever I got the jump on 1 of them...... How [removed] they managed to get heaps of those I would love to know .... Then there are the tons of dumplings.... those in particular should NOT be able to get used in siege.

Sure unless they are somehow duping dumplings etc they will run out eventually...but how long till that happens? Could be another year or more of siege till they even look to be running out :/

EDIT: Removed wording: please stay within Forum rules related to language or any variations of disallowed words. ~ Beren

I believe this recipe exists but only a few players left have it.

I cannot understand why they don't just let free stuff such as Universal Potions drop in your BP upon signing into game, or put them in your mail box like they have done in the past with some things. The reason I say this is because SW is such a popular part of Runes of magic and these pots definitely give people a huge advantage.

Not everyone was able to be there for the GM event due to time differences, work, RL committments, etc... So if they are going to pass out something that creates a huge advantage like this, then to me, to be fair to everyone they should make sure everyone gets them. When a lot of people were unable to attend and did not get the freebie stuff, it creates hostility and resentment among people and can easily be avoided in my opinion.

I think they need to be more selective about what they give out at these events to avoid all this animosity. For the most part people will appreciate anything that is free and they can actually use. It should not be something like Universal potions that gives people this kind of a huge advantage during SW.

Just my two cents worth.

This thread is starting to lose me. The GM's posted ahead of time when they would visit every server. I saw the announcement, knew what time but chose to go out to dinner with friends instead. I don't have universal pots and I don't really care. They are a temporary item and I don't know of anyone that has TONS and TONS. I think most that is all speculation and paranoia. AT the most someone probably logged on 4 alts for the event and got 4x the rewards but that is still not enough to last 1 month if your active.

Players who say they used alts to get those items that GM's most of the time gives are lies after 1 year they still have those items never ending that makes u think was that item generated after GM's handed them to those players and players use GM's as an excuse that they got them. There more that we don't know and others will not know that how it works and if GM's handed 3 stack of those items u can never have 1k stack of them.

It dosent matter that we knew when the GM's would visit. I personally sell off my egg rice and universal pots because I find no benefit from them since i sold off my old siege gear. People who have siege gear and then stack eggrice and universal pots ontop of them suddenly become unkillable. Am I equally responsible for selling mine off instead of just deleting them in protest? Probably. Should they be removed form sw anyways? Most def.

Im surprised they dont realize the things they give us unbalance the game? Like i honestly would have preferred nothing over universal pots.
