I am here since sept 2009, since that time i tried to get that recipe and it was already made unavailable, except to the FRIENDS of Frogster's GM and GM that were in that guild at that time, as to why they got like 1000's of 1000's of eggrice.

Sertet, i understand you play rogue probably and can't kill Knights/warden/champions in siege, well learn to play then. That recipe is the only one that we cannot have but can get it's counterpart for magic. Maybe read the posts that i write all the way down instead of just reading my name on top and just mouthing off.

BTW Honda does have the monopoly on cars, why? because you can go 500,000 kilometers or about 300,000 miles with it without breaking or falling apart like GM/Ford products.

Just keep on raging Sertet you're good at that. :stick:

At least the new team in place has more professionalism then the previous team of Frogster.

BTW gamebreaking for 6 seconds immune, well mages and priest should be screaming about Serenstum, don't they? they should make a vote to remove all of them too then, since all DPS class uses a crap ton of those in siege to kill them, but nah they don't count, they aren't rogues.

I'm not arguing about "oh its use is op" I'm all for the 6 second immunes on physical and magical. But the problem is that it isn't like that. I'm saying that it either needs to be available for everyone or available for no one. Not just the "favorites" of the old servers.

Funny, haven't played rogue in siege since November. And still haven't played a r/m. So yea, raging real hard there. But please continue making assumptions on everything, it entertains the rest of us.
A real sysadmin knows how to change the time.
If you make the same mistake while trying to make up for the previous one, you are doing something wrong.

As much as I'd love to say I offer consulting services, the scope of things broken is too large.

I don't mind the universal pots, serenstums, etc. that people feel the need to use during SW. I feel that if you have to waste a lot of pots on me, then I must have you scared of my awesomeness! I'd rather have DIYCE removed than the pots.

This is not, and will not become, a diyce discussion because then rage will happen that i will be at the center of.

Tanks in pvp right now are game unbalancing zid. Just because there are a FEW mage/wardens out there who can drop champions and wardens does not mean that those classes are not over powered, and it certainly does not mean we should be handing them eggrices and unipots.

I do think the game should introduce the 2 recipes discussed to the game again so everyone who crafts can have them.

They could also give out Laor Forest Tart like they give out serenstrum when they hand out goodies.

It wouldent even matter if they handed them out if they just made the recipes for all alchemy and food potions available to everyone.

tanks are the new PvP FotM classes...I have been saying it for a while, but a single well geared and skilled tank will dominate PvP more effectively than a rogue or any other class.

Well it would only be fair for the recipes to be activated in game and being able to farm them for sure, many threads i have made asking to have them back in game. A lot of players would love to get their hands on them for their guilds

What I got from this thread:

Everyone has common sense except .

Potions shouldn't be allowed in siege, we want it to be more skill oriented. <That won't happen. People have more money and time to put into the game, so skill won't happen, to the perfect degree at least.

Why do I say that? For the love of god i wore tempest and wrecked endgame guilds. Skill can dominate the pay to win aspect in siege.

My opinion:

Pots shouldn't be used in siege (universal, phirius, anything like that)

More pots should be able to be bought in siege with merits (like the farm ones, but buffed, of course)

Yup.

agreed BB.

imo, even just taking out pots(buff pots too) would do a lot to make SW more accessible to more people. like some1 else said, how it is now is really whoever buffs the most, wins...which is true for the most part.

The key word in this post is "skilled" because most people don't have that. Most people have no idea how to play their class. Everyone likes to think they have it all figured out, but let's be realistic here, about 5% of everyone who plays actually knows their class inside and out, let alone knows enough to tell other people how to play a class they don't even play.

BB, I actually completely agree with what you said.

I also loved watching your vids of your in your tempest armor. Almost made me stat my OD set lol.

I mean I agree if phirius pots are disabled, so should universal pots. I am ok with all pots being allowed with a cooldown but make it fair. If one is allowed, allow the other, If one isn't allowed don't allow the other.

I also think... I don't care if someone uses them, if they are that hard for me to kill, them popping back to full health isn't gonna change anything. If I managed to kill them instead (and they are that tough of a nut to crack), they are gonna be buffed up and back in what 2-3 minutes anyway. So if I am that outgeared or outskilled... well then I know how siege is gonna end up anyway.

I would however say it isn't really "skill" in this games pvp as much as it is "strategy". Any game with insta hit spells/skills, limit the amount of skill required. Most of the time it is only who can hit the buttons first. But I have given up on finding a good pvp mmo game.... 5 years ago. There are some with Meh PvP. However once you have been ruined by a game that is 80% dominated by skill and innovation, 20% level/gear... you will never see another game to equal it. Hence why I just don't care about pvp anymore.

Siege is fun, but if I kill someone 1v1, or 5 (of me)v1 I don't feel any reward or accomplishment. Now if I am taking 1v5, and manage to get a kill I feel pretty good. Siege is simply number of equally geared players or characters. This is why my gf and I can beat guilds in siege with 4-5 active players decently geared, with just the two of us. Cause I place 1 rogue at each tower, then our m/wd at another with a healing tower/invis tower. This gives us a pretty stable defense on all our towers while we push on our mains and put up defenses. Also with another focusing our gates, I can tell if they are being attacked. See strategy... not skill. And as long as the characters at each tower are good enough to stave off an attempt at taking it till defenses are up.. they are successful.

Sorry back on topic.

I don't see how they ruin it, but I am ok with them outta siege. I am ok with them being there if p pots are put back in. I love the idea of more stuff to buy with merits too.

In lower siege's these items don't have a very large impact though Dk. Its in siege's like EC v Bteam etc where it is at times 36v36 (max players) that these items are put into the spot light. And when both guilds are using strats, which majority involves pushing as a group, NOT caping towers and instead using as merit farms etc, it comes down to skill....and gear/buffs.

And to those that comment about siege being a play ground for the tanks....that's just gear lol. The majority of the top guilds are populated with r/m's in siege with 300k+ hp, even mages with at least 250k+. It's still about gear and buffs along with what ever class can dish out the most damage as fast as possible....and r/m covers that >.<
Cammo (82 M/82 W/82 R) 116,147 unbuffed Matk :D (95k pa - r/m)
Livia (82 P/77 K/75 S) wisdom O.o wtf is that...

that is true, we were with one guild for a while with bigger sieges, and it did feel like trying to herd cats lol.

That is why I said I don't really care if they are in or out. I am ok with either. I just think people over raging about it is kinda overboard. I mean it has a cooldown, just like immune foods. Just gotta use them strategically. If you got 5 people on 1 guy and you cant kill him and he has enough time to pop these multiple times... I don't think you are gonna kill him easily even without them.

Follow up update for siege,

Players are not longer able to use class buffs, or skills because not all classes have the same skills. Every class will now be able to equip daggers and you must hit each other with those. Anything equipped over tier 5 will be dropped on the ground at your starting spot before entering siege war. It will most likely not be there after siege. However everyone now has an extra bank slot VII as compensation.

SW isn't about the tank; tanks are only as good as the healer running behind them. You take out the healers and a tank will go down like anyone else (may take an extra second or two). Also, if you're moving as a group like you're supposed to in SW, then a tank can be taken down by 3 people very quickly.
