I think a simple solution would be if they had been bound to the characters as soon as they were dropped into the bags how the 1mil exp foods and talent point foods were that we received this pas week.

There are people that seem to have an unlimited amount of those pots and use them throughout siege still.... (Talking about guilds that were on servers which received the universal pots back in january or whenever.)

Also saw people using multiple laor forest tarts in siege the other night >_>
was pretty sure that those were extinct.

Apperenlty there are like a handful of accounts throughout the game that have that recipie, and everyone else is SOL.
Be nice if they gave out that recipe to everyone else >.>
No kidding. My Reni account was born long after Laor's were removed as GM gifts, so she's never had one. There are, to the best of my knowledge, no recipes on Reni at all. Artemis is the only server I've heard of having the craftable recipe. When I go up against a player with a Serenstum and I have candy, guess who wins? 6 seconds is always going to be > 4 seconds. I know it was removed because bosses in this game used to do no magical damage, for god know's what reason, but at this point, no bosses even do enough damage that you would need to candy through- now bosses need us to use cakes. It's time to bring this recipe back and even up the playing field a bit. RT dia was a long time ago, RW.

RT dia was a long time ago, RW.
LOL and HoS/ZS/DL was even longer ago, and yet we STILL have a once a day limit imposed upon those instances.

Our last siege I "killed" the same warrior about 6 times but he kept popping universals. It was stupid. Allow the pots but do not allow them to be used while in combat. It's pretty annoying to end a fight with 10% hp left and no healer in sight. Either disable them or non combat only.

p.s. M/C does limited damage against an elite group with high hp/def. Mine has high 400k p/k for as little as 50k.

I'm sick of Universal Pots in Siege

I don't understand why Universal pots are allowed in siege. Phirius pots aren't allowed, so why is GM created stuff allowed to bypass this? It's not fair to players. In anyway shape or form, it should not be allowed to be used in siege. I find it GM endorsed cheating, and I'm kinda tired of it.

Totally agreed....sick of getting somebody to 10 or 20k and all of a sudden they are full HP again....at least with Phoenix's they can only do it once per 10 mins, unless its sacred, which in that case I'm glad they used it, because I can waste their dia's.

*Waiting for the "But everyone has access to it, so it's not cheating" comment....
Cammo (82 M/82 W/82 R) 116,147 unbuffed Matk :D (95k pa - r/m)
Livia (82 P/77 K/75 S) wisdom O.o wtf is that...

It was funny.

I've stated I don't use my Universal Pots in Siege war unless I'm alone on a tower, our Raise Morale isn't up and I've been close to being killed, I'll pop one, especially if it's down to the last crucial minutes of a fight. I've NEVER used one in the middle of fighting someone until last night.

It's interesting to see a Rogue/Mage try to take a Knight/Priest with 345k HP down and he pops one in the middle of our one on one, so I did too. Needless to say, he never popped one again (at least when he was against me) because he popped one and I still would have walked away from the fight with 80% of my HP.

Honestly, I see it like this: If they have to pop a Universal Pot during the middle of a fight, it means you would have beaten them, you win. If they have to resort to using a Phoenix Redemption to stay alive, it means you have beaten them. I take satisfaction in that, scrub it off and go after them again, only to kill them later. I've had Universal pots used against me during a fight and I STILL win. Everyone has now received them, and I think they'd be fair game. I doubt anything will be done about them anytime soon, so I don't see where all the complaining is getting you. As well, I really don't see how this is "cheating". It's an item that says nothing about NOT being able to be used in siegewar, it's a legitimate item given to the players. If they want to waste them in Siegewar instead of keeping their butt alive in an instance, I'd say let them go for it. I'll be waiting on the other side of Maderoth with full health when they decide to stop using them in siege. :P

@Cammo: If everyone gets it, what's the problem? I mean, following the argument in this thread, you can call a ban to pretty much anything, and here's a few examples:

I can fully buff to double my HP, which means I live twice as long if I buff up. Even though everyone has hero/unicorns/grasslands just like everyone has uni pots, following the argument in this thread, those should be banned too.

And if we go further to clean T8/T9 gear, if everyone has uni pots and that's still unfair in siege, then, following the argument in this thread, since not everyone has clean tiered gear, those are even less acceptable than uni pots and should all be scaled down to T5.

I just don't see the use of Universal Potions in Siege as being much of a problem. While there may be (and probably are) a number of players who somehow managed to have 2-3 clients open long enough during the event(s) to glom onto a bunch of these and then transfer them to their main toons, if they use them repeatedly they WILL run out, or run low on them in short order.

There are limited quantities of these pots, people. Smart players will use them sparingly, either in Siege or when running HM instances. But chances are good that once they're gone, they're GONE.

I've used a handful in Siege. I think I may have actually used ONE to continue a particular skirmish--and won. The other times were when I'd taken enough damage and needed a quick fix so I could go farm guards at another tower, or continue to hunt down and discomfit the other side's farmers and be a general nuisance.
