My compilation of several attempts over a few days of trying to get something from +10 to +12...

I'm ready to go back to +6 gear now lol.

One thing I was wondering was if "fail" and "fail, level dropped" count as 2 entities, not 1. So when you refine something, rather than 50% chance of fail/success, it would be 1/3 chance to success, 1/3 chance to fail, 1/3 chance to drop level.

nope, orange stat is basically the only reason to run bfh and needs to be 100% chance off Maderoth, nevermind that theres a chance that its a junk stat too.

Nope that's exactly what he meant lol. BFH is way too hard and time consuming considering the only decent thing that drops in the entire instance is the orange stat. If that doesn't drop, it's not worth the time whatsoever. Since it's not 100%, it's just not worth the time.

I wouldn't call it hard and it can be done in less than an hour with a decent group but still, you'd be better of running goblin games and farming eojs, well if you're masochist and can withstand that kind of thing.

I say remove the level drop on fail when plussing with item shop jewels and we might get somewhere with those +16/+20, people otherwise find plussing too expensive as mentionned already in this thread.
