Currency changes?

I haven't played ROM for awhile and just came back to find that some of the currency that I have is no longer any good. I have Ancient Mementos, Phirus Shells, Energy of Justices and Badge of the Trials in my backpack and just found out that they are no longer any good or maybe I'm bugged. I have over 1,000 Ancient Mementos in my backpack, I went to a Black Codex vendor to try and purchase an item and it tells me requirements have not been met. So am I just out of luck and need to start over collecting these currencies?

try right clicking them...we got a new currency list, so they are not items anymore, but just a number, like gold/dias/rubies were when you u quit...

some are still items like the badges, but the rest should go into the currency bag...

As Cike said, with one of the last few patches they were turned into nonphysical items. Instead, now they are added to the currency list which is viewed by pressing C (or opening character menu) and clicking on the bottom tab on the right. There you should see your shells, mems, eojs, proofs, badges etc. If you have 0 in all of them, as mentioned above, try clicking them. This will add them to the list. Beware that phirius tokens are still items and these cannot be added to the list. The main purpose of this new function is to clear backpack space :) .

PS. Warning: be advised before clicking on proof of Myths that once they are added, they cannot be taken out of the list. In other words, once you click them to add to the currency list, you will not be able to sell or trade them forever... ;(

Thank you very much for the replies. That eased my mind knowing that I wasn't going to loose the different currencies that I had accumulated.
