the 13th Zodiac Pet

We all are aware how painful it is to get the 13th zodiac pet, in terms of time and costs. I would like to see some changes on this so people will get motivated in trying to acquire the 13th zodiac pet. As of now, the 13th zodiac pet a.k.a the dragon zodiac has the same exact buff that other zodiac pet has. I would like to see a new implemented buff(that stacks with newborn/adult/legendary) for these special pet so it is worth my time and effort in getting them/ having them . If I recall it correctly, less than 1% of players that have them. I'd like to point out the advantages of why they should rework on the buffs for 13th zodiac pets/ special zodiac pets:

(solely base on my observation/opinion)
1. Cost
- it is at Runes of Magic's best interest to implement and rework these wonderful, amazing zodiac pet system as it cost lots and lots of charges. As we all know charges are bought in Item Shop thus making the company a significant profit. (yes mini games give charges but at minimal amount, it would mean it will take months and years for f2p players to get legendary 13th zodiac pets)
2. Time
- Although we have plenty of things to do in Runes of Magic such as dailies, mini events(shells) and others things, this will help the community in general as they will be busy doing the events. It will not only make the events useful--as most players never do them and find it useless-- but it will also take their minds off from boredom knowing they have some thing to do.
3. Pride/ Adornment
- Alot of players like to collect things. Such examples are cards, old chapter 1 gears or other things. Having the 13 zodiac pet is like a trophy. They can show it to their friends/guildies and build pride on their achievements. The art work of these pets are well designed that some/most people just cannot stop looking at their prized collection and say, oh charizard is so cute.

As you can see, there are many benefits on why they should rework on the 13th zodiac pets/dragon zodiac/special zodiacs. I myself is excited to have them at least even if its just for collection. However, if they do something about it, I'd be the happiest man in Runes of Magic-- so to speak :).

The newborn one not having a special buff is very likely a bug. The grown up and legendary version do have extra benefits (the grown up pet buffs at legendary level, the legendary pet buffs at twice legendary level, also offering a unique +10% damage to players buff).

The reason I haven't bothered with this is because the 13th pet seems to be just for esthetics which is absolutely ridiculous considering how much it costs to get one. I agree that maybe they need to attached some epic buff to them..ditto for that damage increase idea would be nice

a guildie of mine has been focused on the dragon pet. if i recall right, adult atts for dragon is 3% (instead of 2%) and legend dragon atts is 5% (instead of 3%).

i have no idea about the +10% dmg buff. first time i hear about it. sounds really worth the effort if its 3hr one and not like "triggering fro 5 secs every 300 secs blabla"

now about if worth or not the effort to make them. it will cost u ALOT. charges, time, events bothering etc etc. what is wrong with the zodiac system imo atm is the "one buff per newb/adul/legen". this is really bad. both in terms of player and of GF making mney. making many adult/legend pets for having a "variety" to pick "one" in the end until next day is just silly. my opinion is summarized as

" allow the players to get the buff when summoning a pet if they dont have already a same tier buff (: by tier i mean newborn/adult/legend) and the corresponding pet hasnt been summoned today "

by this u prevent player from having x12 hp/mp buffs at same time for example (only one tier buff active per time), but u can allow them to use a different buff depending on the situation.

so u can have +10% exp/tp on dailies, % exp/tp on kills, hp/atts/crit whatever u like in instances etc etc, as long as u have made the effort to build the different pets (no using same pet more than once per day).

that way both players and GF would benefit and most important would make events or rather the zodiac craft procedure more enjoyable. atm the situation is like: "make a +10% exp/tp legend for daily use and an hp or attrs for weekend runs. same with adult, make a tp one for goblins and an hp or atttrs one for weekend runs. no need to bother more", which is just stupid.

in general i d be glad to see a major change in this put-aside chapter of zodiac building/summoning

Well I just got the newborn, took me a lot of time to take that crystal and sands from my bank to start using it, but GF is making lots of things not worth of our time, I'm gonna draw a little offtopic here:

-I created 2 toons well equiped to run gobs on lvl 50 and 55 on hope to get thet metal stone, amazingly both toons got soaring metal stone, you can imagine my deception
-some recipes simply vanished from the game, specially the purple lvl 35 and 50 recipes that used to come out from sascila steppes minigame
-they did something on malatina curse of terror that if you hit the key tile with AoE skill the key won't spawn anymore

these are just examples of things I used to do everyday and now I think they're not worth anymore. Going back to the pets I don't believe they would improve this, recently history shows that all we want is exactly the opposite GF is doing.

I burn through COT on a mage alt daily, and the keys still spawn, the sparkles appear and you can get the key.

im glad some recipes vanished and they changed some loot from time to time, lol arent u a lil annoyed and gettin the came crap from same daily every d*** day XD idk, just my two cents.
