Marking Ink Event

Is anyone else kinda weirded out by this odd event. I am not complaining as I have acquired way too much marking ink over the years. Seems like an odd event at any rate.

IMO, prices are strange...

but even ignoring that, it is an unusual event...

It is good for those with massive excess amounts of marking ink - it is not good if you would go and just buy the marking ink now in the shop just to get the other transportation items.

But some of the minigames give huge amounts of Ink, so it is a good way to trade in some for some other consumables :)

Some of the IRC folks were already happy about it as an example ^^

Trade rates could be better but those sitting on large vats of marking ink will still appreciate it. Better than keeping those vats warm.
A real sysadmin knows how to change the time.
If you make the same mistake while trying to make up for the previous one, you are doing something wrong.

As much as I'd love to say I offer consulting services, the scope of things broken is too large.

BTW, the torex mount is in a bag, so your newbie mountless alts can stock up a little. But, only 1 exchange per day so not too much.

Also, marking ink is 10 tokens, if you find yourself little short. :P

In-Game Event Follow new paths - Exchange your Marking Ink (Jan. 30 - Feb. 4, 2014)

Though they may want to do something about their hotlinked image

Keeping with the topic at hand, thank you for pointing that topic out sertet. A very nice event. Pulling Marking Ink out of the Goblin Games all this time and hanging onto the 6+ stacks I have will surely come in handly. As mentioned, an unusual event but still creative and fun nonetheless.

Let me guess, someone did a query against the database:

SELECT COUNT(*) FROM player_items WHERE id = '202902'

...and saw an enormous number? :P

Image is working now. Before it was hotlinked to a german image hosting site that seemed to not permit that.

Kind of on Topic

This is a cool little event here. Not sure about the exchange rates as I currently am at work and not in game.

Any future events like this where we can trade runes that we've collected? And not just the Tier III runes but the Tier IV and V runes that the higher levels get from Gobs?
