Even then people won't agree on the answers. Gameforge KA is definitely a lot better than Berlin and Frogster EU (although imo Frogster NA was still better).

They've made quite a few improvements like lowering puri prices from 50 to 19 and dropping AT charge prices by half, as well as getting a new Item Shop manager and hiring more support people that actually DOES something, but they've also made many mistakes that have pissed people off.

There will be some people who will argue that game is not worth returning to, and others who have faith that Gameforge will and are making this game better slowly. Its still too early to tell yet, so opinions will differ.

Imo, come back and check it out, and decide for yourself whether you'd like to stay or nocontinue playing No subscription fee, so why not?

Maybe they should do what 99% of the community is asking for, which would make the game as good as it was during chapter 2, and we wouldn't have that problem.

I don't think anyone should come to the game currently with the intent of doing any instance past level 55. It's too high of a price. I'd recommend almost any other game.

i'm kinda in the same boat as BB and lemon...if i were to get a friend to play this game, we prolly wouldn't do much past lvl 55-60. once we got there, i'd actually advise just rolling a new toon if they get bored...

The same thing has been said for years now....nothing has changed. If I try to get a friend to play again, its on an old toon that myself (or another) made, I would tell them to (censored) more or less if they were thinking of starting again. I don't want to see a friend of mine waste countless hours or a lot of money gearing from scratch when the publishers still refuse to help their game.

If you like playing alone when starting a new character for months, go for it. The starting areas and areas for new players are empty. There is little or no ability to get a low level party. If you join a decent guild you will find people who are willing to rush you through the low level areas and miss most of the game. In addition you will have problems at the higher levels because you will have far too little tp to level your skills.
This is overcome in the most part by spending large sums of real world money to buy diamonds and use them in the item shop or trade them for gold to other players then buy items in the Auction house.. However this is a risky option unless you only deal with people you know and trust. Scams happen far too often.
The problem is that Gameforge has not bothered to listen to the people who play the game and has gone against every recommendation made by the players. They refuse to advertise the game or make any attempt at all to get new players into the game and believe that instead of raising the quality of the game to get more players or keep the old ones is bad company policy. Instead they believe they can make more profits by just raising the prices of items then labeling it as a sale.
Currently the game is far too expensive in time and money with little or no hope for a long term future.

no offense BB, but Forum population does NOT properly show how many are playing

1) it could be argued more people are happy with the way the game is going, therefore no reason to go to the forums and make posts. As you cited the high population of the forums was around the time of some of the WORST customer service and I think near the hacking time.
2) Not everyone that plays cares, are interested in, or knows that we even have a forum
3) Some people would rather be playing than trolling around on the forum.
4) There are people (my gf is one of them), who wouldn't waste her time on the forum if her life depended on it.

Therefore unfortunately forum population has no proven/definite correlation to IG population. The people before were right. Log in, zone chat some, play around. Then decide if it is right to come back.

I don't know why anyone actually interested in coming back would post on the forums instead of just logging in.... After all you are mostly feeding trolls and getting their OPINION on the current state of the game. Which should have no bearing on if YOU will enjoy the game.

And now that the negitive Nancy's have had there say and fill of negitive my input yes the game is worth returning and tho i can only speak for reni most people will help the lower lvl members of their guild as best they can and they are listening to the players much more than they used to things are improving very rapidly and things are becoming more fair than they have been and i only see things as getting better and while yes they do indeeed need to advertize and lower prices of things in the item shop but things will get better they actually have sales of abl's now that its often enough that you can get gear and for nice people get nice things done for them this game is still very much fun in many ways the bad things that cant be got around would be lag and such and the unavaliability to free players with the removal from the ah other than buying from a seller but yes there are still funs things to do on rom its worth it to come back :gamer: :gamer:

Worth returning? Yes. If you just want to kill some time and play around, yes. Worth coming back and spending money on? No.

An we DO needeth new players.
We demand Gameforge to find more population to play this game, yet as soon as they come, we do EVERYTHING we can possibly do to send them packing. How the hell is Gameforge supposed to increase game population when we do that? We're making demands and doing everything in our power to make sure Gameforge cannot satisfy that demand. Yes, Gameforge SHOULD advertise this game, but would that increase the current game population? No. Because we'll just send them all away even if they came.

And agreed with Borella. Worth playing, and you could get well geared with just $15 a month if you farmed everything yourself and are smart about when to buy from IS and when not to. It won't be fast, but it can be done. Worth dropping $1000? No.

I probably have over the years I have played this game. I wont use the name of another game I played but I will say I played it for 8 years, @ 13 bucks a month and a minimum of 4 accounts, maximum of 9. At that rate it is 624 dollars a year (for only 4), or the equivalent of 12.5, $50 dollar release one time play through games... same as 1 a month, which they don't keep my attention that long.

Consider 624 bucks a year * 8 years, or the years in this game as.... 4? probably over 2k for me actually in that time frame which is less than it cost me in that other game to play for the same amount of time. And I have WAY more than 4 accounts :P

Gameforge did the right thing, a few times. Let's just say they had a thread with replies on what should be in the itemshop.

We got what we always wanted. 5x driller packs. Amazing. So they are asking as what we want (which may make the game more enjoyable for everyone) and just not reading / wanting to put it in. At no expense to them, at that.

It doesn't make sense. If we don't criticize, they won't get better. If they don't get better, they won't attract new players. We can't give them cuddles and love without criticism. Once the criticism goes unheard for months and months, people get upset. Once people get upset and we are told to stfu, we just leave.
