According to BlankMinded you don't really have to finish any run. You could be invited by a pt which has just cleared the instance.

Does not help much on servers where noone can run BF, but on other servers I would hope for zone (world/trade) shouts from groups who have just finished, inviting people who need to finish this quest (kind of elite 60/60 style, just with inviting to the group). Not to get to the Fiord (on these servers it's already now easier to get there using portals) but to be able to proceed with the quest chain.

EDIT: unfortunatelly Yrcanos was right. You have to be there in pt during killing the last boss.

I think they did it for people to do their damn quests, stop being powerlevel just to PvP. Complete your quests and get rewards, titles, XP, TP etc.

They should have made this a requirement for every new zone, complete your quest and do that zone instance on easy at least once to get to new zones.

Hey i got power leveled in TOSH, yeah, why can't i go to the new zones or i am missing quests, LMAO. Finishing Belathis easy mode gets you 60 more quests in the new zone, but i don't want to quest, well too bad for you.

Quest, level and learn to play, very easy really.

It's a bad move. Since it's still a new instance, not a huge problem, but still a problem. Becomes a real problem later when people have moved on and somebody who is questing to level and nobody is running the instance at all. It was a very short-sighted decision.

As for the company doing it so people would do their quests, I highly doubt it. I suspect they would much prefer if people did not do their quests and used daily resets and xp orbs to level.

It appears that to get to the fjords, you have to complete the Belathis instance. The folks at Runewakeer may not be aware of this, but some of us are in it for the quests, not the instances. A lot of people at level 82 have never even done ToSH, and don't have the gear to survive AC or or KBN in easy mode. Most of those people do not run with the High HP, end-game people and have no way to get through there. Myself, I have 103k HP on one toon and 83k on the other, and I have a couple end-game friends who will probably be able to help, but some folks I know won't. This was not a good plan for the game. It was not a prerequisite to get to Thunderhoof hills, or to Rorazan, and the other zones were accessible simply by walking in from the previous one. I hope GF and Runewaker can create an alternative route.

I think they eventually will fix it cause problem is that Belathis (even on easy) is very strategy heavy. You cannot burn bosses. Kinda reminds me of Tosh. There are still lvl 82 (and eventually 85) who will never do TOSH. It doesn't matter how much dps you do, or how much hp you got, if you don't do the strat, you die. I guess they did it as an incentive for people to do a worthless instance. Yes, Belathis is kind of worthless because the items that drop are not better than lvl 80 and the chances to get a good orange stat at last boss..let's just say it is very slim.

Hate to burst your bubble but my partner and I have done every single quest in the game save for the ones in instances we are not capable of running yet and the ones for world bosses. Oh, and save for mosta CoO/Xav since I find a third class to be pretty useless and didn't need such low end quests on a higher lvl toon.

You're assuming that just because we aren't ready for the highest instance in the game that we haven't bothered to really play the game for ourselves. Well, you know what they say about assumption...

I was not pointing fingers to anyone Myste, how many people we see on Reni asking for powerlevel tosh lol. We helped people do belathis last night to open up their extra quests in the new zone. We will do it again today for them to understand the strat of it and know how to do it. Like Need said, it is not a burn, a little of strat and patience is needed in there, but not that bad at all

Also if you play on Reni, whisper me and i'll see what we can do to help you out on instances. We have a nice group of guilds trying to help each other out and others. We are trying to make the server better by helping others and taking the time for them. We killed Resentful Hackman with people from 5 different guilds, no drama, just teamwork and fun. We do not steal loot, world bosses or kick people from parties at last bosses, we need for main class, greed everything else, rare drops ( POM's, Monster card, furniture stuff etc ) /roll for them and the highest gets it. Simple rules but effective, also once people get what they need from that instance, they will be asked to come help again for others, make the server better for everyone

To get to Zandorya and Kolydia, you simply had to follow open-world quests. None of that required gearing up to take part in an instance.
Admittedly, this problem will disappear over time since I will eventually be able to ask someone of level 115 to run me through Belathis.

Hm. I thought one only had to run the first boss, at least that's what I've heard. If you have to run the entire instance (even in Easy) would be a bit of a pain in the arse, imo.

As mentioned, I'm not too worried as I'm in no hurry to be the best of the best.

Sarlo has been out for 5+ months, so it was not exactly news that questline goes through instance. Yes, this is 1st time that happened, but people had months to arrange a run. And a good group can easily drag couple newbies through easy run, especially since they only need last fight to complete the quest.

I (and I am sure several other people) helped people to get to new zone via portal, but quest still needs to be completed. Breaking questline is hard to recover from. You don't have XP and you dont have lots of quests unlocking.

I do hope those of you in OP guild will help less geared with the run.

Yes Rustyx was nice enough to open a portal for the whole server ;-) When i heard from Sperlie that we needed to finish the belathis instance to get aces to more than 60 extra quests, well we went and finished it.

It's a Catch-22. You have to open the Snoop in a new zone for the port to him in that zone to be made available. It's always been that way.

And remember that taking a portal to Wailing Fjord and marking a port spot doesn't mean that you can continue the Morrok quest line there. You will still need to finish the quest in Sarlo first. And, you run the danger of doing quests in Fjord and possibly messing up associated Morrok quests.

It can be done in wasy mode and in 6 man party you should be np to clear it. Just make sure you DPS 4th boss nice and slow as it can bug with to much DPS. I know bleedimgblak has some tutorials on his YouTube channel for every boss. Maybe check them out and you can are the tactics.

GF and I are buffing up today and seeing what part of our main run group needs to go through.

Well not our main group cause she isn't gonna use her w/k tank, but her s/p. Question gonna be what we are gonna need and how far we can chisel it down if we need to help others. Beth-easy at 80,I was doing just with my p/s and w/m for quest running for people. Course we usually take a full group of 6 for extra mems though

I suppose I was lucky enough to be 80 and then 82 mid-way through Merhdin Tundra so there's not much for me to do in the new zone since the instance isn't open and the shell pulls are in Varanas I have no real reason to get there. Perhaps an awesome cooperative guild might assist me in getting through Bela so I can help others. As I mentioned I'm not in too much of a hurry to get to end game as fast as possible.

Gives those that can control. a monopoly some might say. good for them. I am in no hurry to hit cap on my new toon on my new home server reni but, at some point, I am going to have issue with the main questline needing me to complete an instance to progress. way to run off slow levelers. they have just invited disaster once again to rom. don't tell any of this to new people coming to the game or they'll never stay.

my main on indigo has not done past grafu hard. reason being is strat requires that u have no lag at all, timing is everything and if u miss a step in the sequence due to lag and timing game over. same reason I haven't done tosh at all. cant get first boss done because the timing on the strat is critical. game plays mostly fine in regular world, if an attack signal never makes it to server it doesn't mean I die, next one probably will get thorugh. but instances with timing critical stats are a now win for people that lag sometimes badly. I get occasional ping spikes of up to 300k without losing connection, if I can wait it out it settles down and game is playable.

to hinge progressing on to a new zone on an instance, that is strat heavy is catering not only to the pay to win people, but people with high end pcs, with superfast net. elitist as hell. one more reason to not invest in this damn game.

Well sometimes when people get on new servers, instead of antagonizing everyone, mouthing off and all, try to make friends and alliances. Reni is easy for that if you treat the people correctly and with respect, you come in and push people around, well good luck getting any help at all. A lot of smaller guilds will go out of their way to help you quest, gear etc. It's always how you act and react to the community.

If there are instances that are strategy heavy, well learn it and run it, pretty simple. We in Disturbed are doing it, mind you we are just a scrub guild but heck we try and die with guildies and friends till we get it. Patience is a virtue, gotta find it

This game is worth playing and putting time and money in it, but you gotta be willing to at least try and not hope to be given everything on a silver platter. If you have bad internet, well it happens but it is not this game's fault at all.

zid, reni has just as many problems as the rest of the servers...just because it's not immediately obvious doesn't mean it's not there...
