Did price go up or down? Can't remember what the old price was, but don't think it was 55.

Old price was 99 for a pack of five armor/accessory and I think 129 or 149 for 5 weapon. Now it's.. a hell of alot more than that.

then they had a sale where they sold the singles...i am not 100% sure the price though, but it may have been 65 dias...

Weapon one definitely down from last weekend jewel sale, armor/accessories almost certainly down.

Usual suspects can be safely ignored.

I think we're supposed to be comparing frogster's prices vs gameforge's, which is what Borella is talking about.

Frogster's price on single enhanced (+16) jewels - NOT SURE
Gameforge - 55

Frogster's price on stack of 5 enhanced (+16) jewels - 99 (armor) --unsure about weapon--
Gameforge - 499 (for 10) so 249.5 for 5

~252.525% increase

BB, u also have to look at the fact that since they released the current +16 jewels, the price has gone up...so it is not only a frogster vs GF comparison, but a comparison between original price and current price under GF management...

99 diamonds for 5.. was a LONG time ago.

More recent prices were 150 for 5 and then 199 for 5.

Recent prices were 69-99 per gem

Now down to 55.


So better than it was, not as good as it has been. However it has been steadily increasing over time.

Comparing End of Frogster prices vs GF is absoluted ridiculous and stupid, Ill explain why:

When a company is looking at buying another company they want to see that it is profitable. No one else realized the massive number of diamond sales and massively good IS sales were the business quarter.. JUST BEFORE THEY WERE BOUGHT!!! I mean cmon, they knew they were looking at being bought, so they went full bore for sales numbers to be high, so the people in charge of Frogster made AS MUCH MONEY AS POSSIBLE.

Compairing a company selling stuff like mad to show good profits in the quarter before getting bought is a basic practice to drive up their price. Therefore comparing those prices ... with todays prices... just stupid or naïve.

like i've said for a while, if u buy an item than you think it overpriced, you are essentially telling GF that that is an acceptable price to pay for that item. thus, GF knows that it can sell for AT LEAST that much.

yeah I am glad they didn't 69 diamonds them again... maybe they are testing prices. We as a community can pat each others backs... The turnout on the last sale got them to rethink prices

Gameforge definitely sold +16 jewels for 99 for 5. FA was a hell of along time ago. Last thing the item shop needed to do was get more expensive, least of all on the idiocy that is plussing jewels. What BB said.. a 252% price hike on the already most expensive part of gearing.. come on.

iirc, they never dropped the +16 jewel price down like they do all other jewels when they came out with the new ones...

For GF, I am seriously thinking you are forgetting a 1 for the +16 gems, 199, not 99. Cause I remember seeing 149 for armor gems and going WOOHOO, and massively stocked up. But there is no way for either of us to prove if we are right.

Unless it was when I took my break... which was 70-72 time.

Main thing being that 149 for 5 is still 30 diamonds a piece, so saying it from 30 to 55, is almost a 100% increase is more accurate. Still a big increase.

It was 99 for 5 sun or moon enhanced. 149 for 5 star enhanced. You can search the internet and find couple mentions of those prices, and yes, under gameforge. That was the standard sale price. You could also go back on the EU English forum and notice that they had a jewels sale pretty much once a month for quite a few months leading up to the false drought they created by not selling the new jewels.

Then link them please, cause you know what I haven been yet to find what you all are talking. I do remember them ONCE being that price. That was not a standard though. Once you prove that they have been done for that, then ball is in my court to prove that they were for 149. Cause I cant post anything to disprove that the average was 99

Which says you can save up to 50% off. That means that their idea of "usual" price is 199 diamond for 5. Now look at this weekends promo. Says nothing about the plussers being "at x% off" meaning they are selling them at "full price".

199 for 5 would be the "full price" then from that time, so 5 now are 275. Thatt means the increase is actually only from 199 to 275... still an increase, but not as much as you all are claiming.

this is just a piece of my remembering;

level 70 max +16 jewels were a set price. then level 80 +16 jewels came out, and it matched the price of the lvl 70 +16, they didn't increase the price just because the level limit was increased.
