Ruisen int/matt drops from normal mode. Also hard mode stats drop from 3rd boss. For people who can't farm hard mode, or lack people for hard mode 1-3 can be a nice farm. Can be done fast with a nice party.

We have gotten INT/MATK, STAM/MATK and STAM/DEF on easy mode in Grotto, needs RAE's but heck, makes it cheap.

/\ yeap I like that they did that with Beth on up. You can get the stats cheap running easy. From what I heard about how much easier it is then Belathis I was thinking of trying my luck soloing through easy for stats lol.

Quick easy stats. Just the way I like it. Sadly I still need capitals and getting to 1st boss bethalis easy takes so long. and the chance of int/mattck dropping is very low.

that reminds me I need to stock a few of those. Got about 4-5 pieces I need to redo on my mage, never thought to look at which bosses dropped it, but hey if it is First, I guess I know what I am doing either today or tomorrow.

It isn't just the F2P this game is losing.

Alittle background I've played since just before chap 3 and have always been P2p and trying all kinds of differant characters cause thats my play style.

After this last increase in plussers cost though and spending somewhere around 700 diamonds on the +16 plussers to have a peice of gear start at +14 and ending at you guessed it +14. After I felt like a chump so I went back in purchasing history of mine and realized i could have payed subs for another game for 3yrs in a 6 mos period I had to re-evaluate wth i was doing...add to that the fact the economy is completley fubar on Reni w/ the AH,and bugs etc and for me it was a no brainer..

Fast forward 2 weeks and they make the main line go threw instas and I was glad that I had made the decision to leave and decided to officially call it quits...

Now anytime I even get the itch to log on and even say Hi i come to these boards and watch the sycophants trip and drool all over themselves and it removes that right quick.

I agree the game is losing all kind of players not just f2p. But for a new player to come to rom now and see how hard it is to get good gear etc why on earth would they spend there hard earned money into the game. Especially when they see how expensive it is and how much money you have to invest to get far in the game. Yes you can do it as f2p, there is many exceptions to the rule. However for the casual gamer by the time you make new gear there is new content so the gear loses its value. And yes people will probably say there is lots of ways to make money, but who wants to spend all there free time grinding in a game to make an item worse through the terrible plus system? Fix the key bad aspects of the game and a lot more people would be willing to invest money into this game.

I quit a while back, not just get on to play, because of the inflated gold and AH prices. I couldnt upgrade gear or do anything really, it was too hard and with work i dont have time to play much to get gold to do anything. So i can honestly understand where the OP is coming from, hes not looking for handouts, the game has just gotten too out of hand. for those of you still playing anyways, goodluck to you guys and your 200-500k dias.

The point of a f2p game is to have the option to be f2p, not just p2p, but with dia prices being what they are it's simply too hard to be f2p, imo, at least for some of the players, i get that f2p players should have to farm, which they should but with the prices of dias its almsot worthless, 300k gold for 1 dia, how many dias per purie, how many puries per gear? thats a lot of hours of farming, not worth the trouble.

I should have asked first, but what are the prices of decent stats/ endgame gear over there? Because everything I've ever heard about prices over there is like 150m+ for an UD unstatted piece lol, so my impression of the economy there is hyperinflation gone crazy.

diamonds= 300-350k if you manage to find someone selling them.
good fjord stats(str/patt,dex/patt,sta/patt etc..)= this fluctuates wildly. I usually sell them around 18-20m but they can go up to to 25-30m*.
gear= You will be very lucky to actually be able to trade gear/weapons for gold at this point. In terms of end-game, at this point, gold is irrelevant. Most trade is carried out on diamonds. Non-od pieces without stats,plussing, drillers can go for 300-400 dias depending on the piece. At gold price, that is between 90m-120m. Pieces with durability can go anywhere from 500/600 dias to 1k dias. In gold, that is 150m/180m-300m plus the ABL.
proofs/stats= Proofs are around 30-35m I think and an orange stat is going around the 140m+ neighborhood.

In terms of real terms (purchasing power parity) we are worst off than all other servers. If I get 20m for a good stat but pay the dias at 300k, then you in server XYZ paying the diamond at 100k should sell the same stat for 6.66m. Anything over that you are better off than me in real terms. I happen to have an account on Reni where dias are nearly 3-4 times cheaper, yet stats sell for half (and sometimes the same) as Palenque. Hyperinflation is an understatement.

In essence, if you can run endgame, you can make out decently. If you can't, you're screwed. 300m for even OD is insane. If people tried to sell unstatted OD gear for 300m here I think people would go on a riot lol. But anything less than endgame is deflated compared to the other servers.

How much of the server is capable of endgame instances? I actually haven't seen very many palenque guilds. I've only seen 2 that seem relatively strong and well geared, and a few that seems like alt guilds with very little people. Is the server mostly merged into these 2 guilds?

This doesn't seem to apply for gear though. I've seen people selling Grotto HM gear (UD) for 25m in world channel, whereas endgame gear there is 90-120m UD.

Basically there is only 4 guilds on Palenque that can do something end-game ish (Aurora, Dovakhin, Magios, and Cubalibre). As far as I am concerned, only a PUG from Aurora and Dovakhin can run Bethomia, but they only do to the 5th boss. I am not so sure how far Magioss does but they probably do the first boss and maybe the 2nd, I am not too sure. As for Cuba, we can't beat 1st boss but we're getting there, last time we got it down to like 10%. End-game is mostly merged into Dova and Aurora, whilst the other guilds are not necessarily end-game but they're not noobs either. There are also a small number of guilds with good players, but most are retired or those are now defunct guilds. Dragonclans might also be able to do 1st Bethomia boss. As for Grotto, I am not sure if Aurora has been able to do it full.

ok Reni situation

Diamonds available between 25K to 150K per, depending if you know the right people and also how you threat other people in game has a big influence.

Endgame gear, well 100M for an UD last instance piece of gear is stupid, get the crafted 80/82/85 gear and it will do the job, also use the latest bag stats that are free. You wanna QQ because stuff isn't availbale to F2P, LIES, it is available if you can compromise. You wanna wear the shiny gear from Grotto, go farm it and stop QQ or get what you can get and play the game. Crafted gear one tier higher than instance have almost the same benefit. Wanna have the POM gear, go kill world bosses, do you need that gear to run stuff? HELL NO!!

Runs in instances, well on Reni many guilds have joined to do stuff and it works, setup the loot rules from the start, know who to trust and run it.

Don't want to spend a dime on the game and be totally F2P? well farm it, craft it, sell it or shut it. Don't expect anyone to give you free gear, free stats, free gold or free diamonds.

Reality is, people are lazy and expecting everything given to them for doing nothing

Wanna be F2P, it's all good, spend less time on the forums complaining and get in game and make it happen

Auction house has been pretty empty for everything since they stopped selling diamonds in the Auction House. Far less of all items at any price. Items I put in the Auction house don't sell anymore, even went to the history and offered the items at half the lowest prices they ever sold for and still couldn't sell anything. Where there were pages of high level gear now 1 or 2 pieces at either absurdly high prices or almost free they still don't sell. Done lots of farming have plenty of gold and goods but can't get any diamonds to buy anything. It just may not be worth making the effort anymore.
The poor economy that was there when there were diamonds in the Auction House has totally collapsed and now there is no economy at all. Time to turn out the lights.
