Can you maybe say prices of things? What else can you get in the gas has etc?

Quite a few good items with quite a few terrible items. Looks like I will be skipping the casino this weekend and playing rom instead.

Yeah, some bad items but if CammoXD's experience about charges being most common is right, that is pretty good deal too. Charges are normally 45 dias for 50, on sale for 25 dias for 50, and those are 13 dias for 50. Not everyone needs charges, of course, but still great deal for those who do.

And if you're looking for those perfect jewels, that's about a 12.5% chance you'll get one.

Buuuuut it's all RNG and it is RoM so..throw all of that in the mix.

Items in gashas don't have equal chance of showing up. They generally tend to be in order of rarity they are listed in, from most common to less common to rare "jackpot" items. Unfortunately, that means ticket gasha is essentially a waste since 10k XP orbs are dirt common from siege rewards and sell for about half a dia worth of gold. The jewel gashas, those are worth it, but dont expect many jewels.

Is it a celebration of 5 years for the sales team, or the customers/players? The way it looks to me at the moment, would be like if I went my mom and Dads' anniversary dinner, gave them a list of items with a chance of getting one (steak, lobster, slim jims); then having them pay the lobster price for their own anniversary dinner for the slim jims they just received.

LOL just remember these expansion tickets were what 500 diamonds? So at 13 diamonds a try don't expect to get a ticket before you buy 38 of these orbs. That would equal the cost before of these tickets.

To complain that you bought any less than 38 of these orbs and didn't get a ticket is just plain bratty. Sorry. Not to mention you get other things as well... regardless of whether you wanted them or not. The rate at getting a ticket really should be like 1 in 50 to be in line with the costs of these tickets.

Not to mention that it was a special at that time. Your friend spending 1k diamonds.. Yeah that might suck for him but I bet if you add up the stuff he got... he got more than 1k woth of diamonds would be my guess.... So he didn't get ripped off... He just didn't get what he wanted.


But you know what... GF was smart. Cause I mean your friend dropped 1k worth of diamonds how many others do you think will cause they think they will "get lucky"? I mean you all here say you don't like gashas... but you ever stop to think they might make HUGE amounts of money on them?


And after all should a company listen to the what? 50-100 players that complain about it on the forums (and I am being VERY generous there) or the probably 200-300 that are buying them? Not to mention some of the ones complaining (I said SOME) are NOT the ones buying diamonds from them? I mean from a business standpoint... I would watch the sales not a few loud voices on the forums. Which is the RIGHT way to run a company. The Most vocal people don't necessarily speak for the community. Only way to be sure about that is to watch the sales.

I think we were all hoping for a something a little different for the birthday celebration. I was hoping for an event of some kind which I have not ruled out. Maybe a huge diamond sale. The games 5 year anniversary should be a big deal and if they play their cards right could bring people back.

If i was marketing - I would put up a item everyone uses at rock bottom prices then email everyone past/present that subscribed, hit facebook, twitter etc.. and see what happens. They have the rest of the year to make crap loads of money, this is their 5 year anniversary! Should be a celebration not a casino. I mean I am all about companies making money but this is something special.

I'm sure they're making enough to pop all kinds of champagne in the office. On the original sale they sold like 800,000 diamonds worth of class expansion tickets in under two hours. Promotions all around.

you all are correct and I hope we see something else cause this is a pretty pathetic anniversary so far. Look at last year. It was pretty bad, but we got stuff just for logging in every day, etc if I remember. Havent logged in to see if that is the case or not. There may be a diamond sale coming, There may be specials coming up. This is JUST the base part of it though.

I hope this isn't all there is.

However, the point I am making is that people buy them. That tells GF that people like them... at least to some extent. You know what I wont be spending money on these. We got the only character that needed tickets, the number we needed when they were up. So I now don't need anything in those bags. The main point I am trying to make is people crying on the forums "we hate gotchas" is NOT proof that the entire community is against them.


Think if GF makes ... $10,000 off these gashas in a week.... and 25 people on the forums are saying they hate them and they should never be put up... Which would you believe as a company? The 25 people on a forum crying about it, or the multitudes being sold in game.


I get tired of seeing comments like "GF isn't listening, we hate these things"... when they seem to be selling like hot cakes in game.

Friend bought 150 gashas. Got 0 plus stones, says enough I think...

Yes cause its so easy to stop gambling.. If it was we wouldn't have so many gambling addicts in the world.

really you think the number of gambling addicts is as high as drug addicts? Cigarette Addicts? Alchoholics?


I am sure the % is far less for those addicted to gambling, then all the others.

You know what I do when gotchas are up, I buy 10-20 and figure out the % chance of me getting what I want. If it is so low, or I don't see what I want.. it is easy for me to go... welp not worth my money. It is harder if you get what you are looking for here and there. Like every 30 you get ONE gem.. if he got NONE after 50-100... he shoulda thought it could be broken and stopped.

You all haven't learned by now if the gashas don't say "you are guaranteed the first item in the list"... etc etc. Then you are just throwing your money away... Nope cause you all go like moths to flames.



But hey back to the gambling addiction analogy... SO is it wrong for stores to sell cigarettes for those addicted? Is it wrong to have liquor stores, or stores selling beer for alcoholics? Nope. So GF selling something that a gambler cant resist, is not wrong either. After all how many online poker/etc places do people lose all their money to? We are talking 40 bucks here.

Maybe if someone is that addicted they shouldn't ever try to buy them... EVER

Not to mention it is technically not gambling.. After all they own everything, the diamonds, the items, your characters. Technically not gambling cause you don't get any money back nor are you losing anything of yours. Once you buy the diamonds.. your money is gone... the diamonds are THEIRS


Ill also add if they are that addicted to gambling, coming and saying GF is the problem is a really joke. If they are that addicted they need to get HELP. Get involved in a program, seek psychiatric council. Alcoholics don't scream and yell at liquor stores and such because they have a problem. They get help or avoid those places. I am also sure that Alcoholism affects WAY more people than gambling addiction. The answer though is not blaming someone else. It is seeking help.

Well i bought 9 of the last packages and got 50 charges on all of them, a bit of a mix would be nice ;-) still happy with the charges and i'll probably get back to 10K charges in no time again loll
