All-in-all you can't complain. I like the fact they're even offering a CHANCE to get the Class Expansion Tickets in these gashas. Especially since these were sold in limited quantities before. Now you're given the chance to get one without worrying about if they will be available or not. Plus side, 50 charges for 13 dias? NICE!

I got one of the gasha's out of the 50 charges pack. It gave me 1 puri. Seems stupid to open a door, then another door, then 1 whole puri... I can buy the stupid things for tokens......

agreed charges are ok... but the transformation pot and ugh fireworks really????

Well I suppose sometimes you gotta work for it! xD I haven't had too many problems as far as gashas go. No they aren't always fair but they are kind of a gamble, never know what you'll get!

I wonder where the code for a Gasha is. I assume what you get from the gasha is calculated upon opening. Which means there is a code somewhere that has the probability and it would be interesting to at least know the chance we have of pulling on of the rare items.

Me knoweth what yer twill get. Barrin mistakes on Gameforge's part, all gashas be ter their advantage. Remembers, they do be in this ter maker a livin. Kinda taketh the fun outta celebratin tho. Twould be nicer tho iffn they no had useless items in there like the potions/fireworks.

I don't write often, but seriously, I have been playing for 5 years and sunk tons of cash into this game, yet the gasha rewards are totally disappointing. Instead of ONE purie how bout a BAG? and instead of ONE item, how bout several at a time? Otherwise, this feels no different than a simple event gasha. I bought 80 gashas yesterday and got mostly 10k exp orbs, 11 quest tickets, and 3 charge orbs....to say the least I am disappointed. Come on Gameforge, loosen up your wallet and give your loyal members a REALLY BIG REWARD for all these dedicated years to the game.

Now, that I can get behind. There is a rational purchasing decision to be made when buying a gasha, and that is mostly based on several factors

a) the value of good items.
b) the likelihood that you will get good items.
c) the value and desirability of common items.

(a) and (c) we can estimate, but (b) is never known, and it would help a lot. When you play a lottery or gamble, you have some idea what the chances are. Here, we don't. Knowing the chances = more rational purchasing = happier and less whiny players.

That said, in my experience, and in some other guildies experience, bags 2, 3 and 4 are heavily weighted to the common item, 50 charges, so they score high on factor (c). That 13 dias happen to be excellent price for 50 charges, which makes those bags a good deal, IMO. Bag 1... ummm... no, thanks.

2k dias later, no Class Ticket. Instead, I got about 90 siege war orbs.

Why keep trying? Cause a guildie did manage to get a class ticket after buying about 1k worth of dias, so assuming it was possible, and because I really miss mage/scout, I kept trying. That's why they make zillions on those gashas. Worst part is that the siege war orbs are so. bad. So bad.

If it was at least something useful like angel's sighs or charges, it wouldn't feel like such a waste.

2.5k dias later, I just got a class ticket. Yay, scout.

This is why people keep trying, DK. Because even though I just payed 5 times the price, I did get what I wanted, and I kept trying because if I didn't get anything at all I wanted, it would have been a complete waste, so its better to keep trying til you do get what you want.

Do I recommend this method to anyone else? Oh god pls no, if someone had told me just how bad the droprate really is, I wouldn't have even tried.

Is there anything else planned to celebrate ROM's 5 year anniversary or is this sale it? A nice diamond sale, xp/tp event, or a pom event would be a great way to say thanks to the player base for sticking with ROM for 5 years!

Did you use Luck Potions or anything that boosts drop rate?

No Idea if it would help when opening Gashas? Just curious if anyone has opened a a few w/o luck pots and then try opening them with a luck pot on ( the luck pots last what 15minutes or something ).

We never know what is being planned for actual birthday event till a day or so before it starts.

And sometimes not even then. All of us, old timers, remember then 2nd birthday, right? To those who weren't around - Swag, our community manager, overhyped the promos and gave no details. And while all the promos were good, the diamond sale one misfired and gave way more diamonds than intended. People bought tons of dias and then, when a problem was discovered, most of them had excess diamonds confiscated - leading to massive, and justified, outrage.

Not knowing exactly what the birthday promo will be is as ROM as mom and apple pie.

No, I didn't use luck anything. After that, maybe I'll try it. Sheesh.

I keep reading how you people spent 1.5k dias..2k dias..etc on gashas..and then everyone wonders why they keep offering gashas. no matter how many threads are open or how many posts discuss how we don't want gashas.



They'd be foolish NOT to keep offering gashas.. when they make a killing off you people. It'll be interesting to see if any of you who spent so many diamonds on gashas, complain about the fact that gashas are offered.



These gashas are ESPECIALLY heinous, because you aren't "guaranteed" anything from the list..which people seem to not get. Because everyone's being blinded and going crazy over "50 charges for 13 dias etc" when in fact you're not guaranteed any particular items from the list. The only guarantee you have is that you'll receive ONE of the items. It would be different if these gashas had guaranteed charges or something with the CHANCE for additional items like they've been lately in the plussing stone gashas.



I'd must rather pay a little more for the item I want out of the gasha, than to gamble away potentially all my diamonds one the CHANCE for the item.

Kind of agree with Vwiffo on this one. The charges are so common from these gashas that if you look at it like you are buying charges, it comes out to be a very decent price. If, that is, you need or want charges.

I agree with those who say this is fairly paltry as anniversary offerings go if this is it.

I don't like the fact that they stressed perfect gems and class expansion tickets in their advertising, which is very misleading considering the odds of getting those items.

No, you are not guaranteed to receive any particular item, but the way rarity is defined for them, that is the most prevalent item by far. That is why those gashas are particularly good, not particularly bad. A few of your rolls can give you crap, sure; a few of your rolls will give you great stuff. But most of your rolls would give you something usable at really good cost. That is a win.

Well i got a guildie who bought #1 and the lucky bastard got 1 class ticket on his first pull, i hate you Hootie!! not lol gratz on your luck ;-)
