WHY, why, why put something NEW in game when its worse than OLD endgame, WHY, honestly why. It's put in, at first its epic, the only good upgrade on a weapon for anyone aside from Wardens. Then you say...two weeks later i might add, that you shouldn't upgrade YET it because "we are checking with the devs" which i take as a euphmism for "we're getting this nerfed its too good for you". THen its nerfed to be worse than the Bethomia wand, which is kinda of easier to get anyway. WHY, why do you keep pulling crap like this, why does it get through in the first place. Are you going to give equal compensation for those that spend the large amount of diamonds it takes to plus and tier. Or are they SOL?

Why does this keep happening. And for that matter what the hell is up with the "sales" they're ridiculous. 1k dias for 1mil tp, you can get that with 4 days of butterfly dalies or demo battle. MAKES ZERO SENSE. Is your staff just completely incompetent? Either kill the game or make it affordable so ya know, maybe new players will come. Maybe old players will come back. Either fix that crap or just end it, stop milking your players its absurd.

To be fair, they did warn everyone to upgrade at their own risk, which if anyone was smart should have been enough to put them off from upgrading it. It was a mistake obviously, to have a wand with such high healing power so it was expected to be nurfed and the people who put money into upgrading this should have also realized this. (Unless they did it before the warning from GF was posted in forums) As to your complaint about being less then the bethomia hard mode wand, you answer your own question. this is a HARD MODE wand, and as such, should be one of the best in the game. The down grade to the wand was done perfectly, the only problem with all of this is that the mistake happened in the first place. But it did happen, and you were warned...

Read this post and stop complaining. Sure Runewaker fked up, but at least Gameforge is trying to fix this issue for everyone, unlike the AU server....

And in case you don't know what happened there, the Fruit of Growth was an equipment item (cape i believe?) that had ridiculous stats. They nerf'ed it and gave anyone that had the item done up the chance to get all those 'attributes' switched to a different item (had to have the item already).

There's a good chance anyone that went and did up this wand really nicely probably already had a Beth wand. So unless they're giving people t12's (Or whatever tstones were used) and the plussing jewels used to plus the item it's not fair compensation.

I just don't understand the point of the change. Who (language) cares if a healer has 1.5K more healing power? Heals already overheal, what does it change really? All they've done is make the wand worse than the already easy to obtain Beth wand, a level EIGHTY wand. I just don't get RW sometimes. Most of the time.

Well it is Rogues of Magic after all. Do this to a rogue weapon and see how many people will post and QQ about it. But no one cares about healers, until they need one in instances, which is pretty sad.

I am again another nerf of the healer class, we had Iceblade nerf and now they are just making sure they never rise up again.

Would be nice for other classes to be playable in PvE, PvP is only one hour a day, you have 2 PvP servers and 7 PvE if i am not mistaken. I vote to bring back Iceblade and that staff to where it is supposed to be and make priest viable for questing too.

Tier it higher as it should be and has been discuss previously in other threads the new T10 is T11 or T12, cheaper to make them as ever before. I'm working on T12 even T13 as of now, put the time in it and it will be worth it.

comparing a t13 level 85 weapon to a t12 level 80 weapon is not an accurate measure by any means. What you are saying is equalize the improvements to compensate level differences. But that is like saying the ostrich mount is the same as a rune disk as long as you have a lesser speed mount potion at all times.

You might as well start saying limo desert dailies are better than butterflies, you just need to put in that extra effort to make it count!

A real sysadmin knows how to change the time.
If you make the same mistake while trying to make up for the previous one, you are doing something wrong.

As much as I'd love to say I offer consulting services, the scope of things broken is too large.

Correct me if I am wrong but if you are going to tier 11 or tier 12 a weapon wouldn't you tier the lvl 80 weapon instead since its better?

This is correct, don't listen to Zid.

If you are going to t13 a dagger, it should be the level 80 instead of level 82/85. Level 80 will give you better price.

Go ahead, argue that t14 of new dagger will be better than t13 of level 80. Right. It will. Why not shove that t14 onto the level 80 dagger instead and get more DPS for the same price?

Trying to make it seem like any of the new weapons are anything but useless may lead newer players or those that do not understand the tiering system as well to waste money on an inferior item, which I personally feel is wrong.

Anyway, BB is right. There is literally zero point to saying "Well you have to tier the 85 up a level higher". Yes, to equalize them, you do. But that's completely faulty logic because while in theory yes that's what you should do, in practice that would be stupid. Tiering the Beth weapons to t12 and tiering the 85 weapons to t12 give a better damage on the Beth weapons. Plain and simple. For the SAME PRICE, you will always get more out of the Beth weapons, making any of the new t5 weapons useless. Now including this wand. Which is actually what this thread was about.. so we should probably get back to that.

The dreamland staff is insanely easy to get, and thus should not be better than a wand from beth or grotto which are so much harder to acquire. Ive healed a m/s through dreamland on my priest alt, but ill grant that the m/s was insanely geared. A party of a tank, a dps, and a healer could obliterate Dreamland and acquired the wand rather quickly.

+16 t10 for the following weapons:
annihilation, 8406 mdam, 1884 healing
ancient kingdom iron flower, 7939 mdamage, 1858 healing.
dreamland staff, 7916 mdam, 1742 healing
Jolytta's Bone of Resurrection, 7899 mdam, 1800 healing

So easily the third or fourth best wand in the game, easily acquirable. Make of this what you will.

This is still not the third or fourth best wand in the game. This wand has Phys Attack, where as the others you've kindly mentioned have Wisdom/Magical Attack.

My thing still remains who the hell cares? Honestly? It's a HEALER weapon. Big deal. Who gives a crap if it's slightly better than a beth wand that drops off first boss. Also the amount of time they waited after it was put in the game to then suddenly wrench it back out is disgusting. It's not like OD beth wands are exactly difficult to obtain either. They're cheap as crap if anyone even bothers to sell them.

agreed with borella...healers in RoM have it so easy. healer is the easiest, cheapest, and lowest requirement class to gear. pretty much all staves/wands are OP at this point. nerfing one just because it is slightly more OP is just pointless, and all it does is piss off the people that decided to get/enhance it.

if you want to make healing a challenge, the whole system needs a rework. not an single "OP" weapon.

heck make all heals heal 1m HP per cast, and nothing will change. can't heal a 1 shot, so all undergeared parties will wipe like they do now, while parties with adequate gear can just easily do strat without fear of dieing like they do now, and OP parties can just burn it down like they do now.

slightly on topic: wtb ch2 druid. was actually challenging and fun. this ez-mode 2 button spam druid is no more complex than a priest...
