@Chelus, the account limit was removed a while back and even though the ToS has not been recently updated, everyone is still bound to the full ToS, except for that singular clause pertaining to the limit of accounts a user can have... the rest of the ToS is still valid and enforced.

yeap Chelus, I been saying it here on the forums TONS of times. It has been discussed ... probably 3 times in the last 3 months.


It is always because someone is whining that "you shouldn't be able to this" or "that is exploiting because" or something along those lines.


I personally take offense to it, cause you know if someone wants to do the work to 1)make the account, then 2) level the account and then 3) use the account to benefit in game.... Everyone has the ability to do it..

Therefore it cannot be unfair, nor exploiting.


Now I agree that the events need to have some type of stop gap (which the pom event did), so someone cant just make an account and character and benefit. THis one required attunement which made it GREAT. I ran 9 accounts a day. Course the lowest level char on those accounts is ... 83? so it isn't like I just turned out new characters to benefit for this event. Now I don't know if the chest game has a limit for character level, since I again run characters all about level 52 and above through it....

But just cause you don't want or cant do the work to make the most of the event, doesn't mean it is exploiting. And if you don't keep current on game rules, then you cant make an accurate judgement on if it is exploiting or not.

Well DK as always i agree with you, if you are willing to put the time and effort in it, you should be able to do it. I used up all my existing accounts to do it, toons i have been leveling slowly through dailies and farming in the last 4 1/2 years. I think that some people are just too lazy or jealous of some of us that do have time to play the game as it was intended.

No matter what event Gameforge comes up with, people complain that it's not right for them cause : they gotta work, they got to go to grandma, they went on vacation, they lost internet, power etc.. all kind of excuses and they feel like they missed out, well guess what? they are right!!! i missed out on the ruby give away the time before last and i didn't complain, i was with my kids that day at the movies, i didn't whine about it.

They make events, announce them in advance and just gotta be there when it happens, pretty simple.

Gameforge is playing their cards right, few more ads and magazine publicity and we would be golden

It may sound like kicking a dead horse, but does anyone have an actual link to gameforge saying this, because if it's not said in the specific games rules, then the official gameforge rules would be imposed of one account per person.. maybe someone needs to revise this since it doesn't seem to be in print anywhere i can find it, and therefore not an officially posted rule or allowed action, but a sign of neglect for the game.

there was a thread about this. maybe some1 can link(sorry, can't ATM) had GF's official stance and such.

however, I agree, the ToS should be changed to avoid this type of confusion.

Then you get linked to one thread that YOU could have found using the search option, now I post another thread where it is addressed AGAIN, with links to the official statements where it was said that Runes of magic is an exception to that rule,

So now that we have discussed this MULTIPLE times with MULTIPLE confirmations that it is allowed will you FINALLY stop whining about it?

I don't know how much "searching" you did, cause those were easily searchable on the forums, and then the statements were easily found on Gameforges site.
