who agree if rom is pay per month?

personnaly, am ok
IF, there is NO NEED for Item Shop , aka, no more plussing gems over +6 , no more puries, no more bind on pick up.

get ready for everyone to be shocked....

I don't agree with making it Pay per month. Especially if it would be required per account. I think even I would just flat out quit.

No offense, but this is probably one of the least likely to help the game suggestions I have seen.

I just don't really have any suggestions to make the idea better. I think the game is in a place where the main thing is try to switch to P2P or even a P2P option... would kill the game. I used to like the idea, but now I don't think it would work for the game.

YOU DON'T LIKE IT, DON'T BUY IT

you want a subscription game?? wanna pay a flat amount every month? go ahead, plenty of them out there.

You want to be endgame in a weekend at 350%?? wanna have the best gear without ever running a dungeon? find another game!!!!!!

This game isn't based on 1 weekend time to get to the top, patience, dedication, learning and fun, that is what this game is about.

Stop making a bunch of stupid threads for the same reasons all the time, go play WOW, LOL, RIFT or whatever lame game you want, ROM is just not for you JOe. :thumbdown:

We have had like 20+ new players in guild in the last few months that have started from scratch and getting there, we've had about 25 players that have returned from school, real life etc and enjoy themselves once more in the game.

Always comparing ROM to other games etc is getting boring, why don't you go and play those games instead? do you work for them and come here to promote their products? or just trying to get more players to go overthere because no one plays them? or you can't get along with people in general and hope life is FREE?? wake up and smell the coffee : NOTHING IS FREE!!!!!!! you get what you pay for. :cookie:

With cash shop, I can easily afford to leave my toons sit all summer long, or any time I want to take a break. This is important because as soon as the ice melts and sun shines, I'm out on the water, in the woods or traveling. It doesn't cost me a thing to let my account sit four or five months. This year has been unusually cool and wet so far, so I'm still in front of the monitor.....

If it was subscription based, unless they had a 'vacation mode' in the payment plan, I'd be paying for it all summer.

It's a good game with a good business plan, the biggest issue is that players and GF both have to work at getting new players involved. Recruiting is what will keep the game going.
People in charge of ROM have to advertise, players have to work to keep new players interested, and make them feel welcome.

Most sub games on the market right now are going from P2P to F2P in order to survive. Something tells me going in the other direction is not a good idea.

u all love this game
but if u have to actually pay for it, u will stop teh game

so basically, i m the one comparing to other games
but if i have to pay for it, i will play this game

at least am TRYING to suggest things taht would help, instead of, like some of u, jsut throw rocks at me
u all say there are no GM, GF sending this gms to develop other games, while leaving rom here, no adverstise nothing
give them the money to do so
if paying per month is not good idea, then what about, buy once; for like 30-40 usd, then no month fee
only Darwec suggested something, and he got yelled at too

if i didn t like the game, why would i bother spending time here,
i love this game, but there are jsut too many things taht are wrong
and u all see taht,
and dont give me an exemple how many players enter in ur guild
u wanna gimme numbers, tell me how many HUNDREDS ,every months ,players enter in teh game, and are now high level ( not 85, obvisouly, but 57 at least, and gearing with the best the game offers )
dont tell me u dont see teh game content need to be changed?

UNLESS, since i m on server Artemis, the issues i ve stated above ONLY concern my server, and all the other servers
are FULL of players, just check in AH, wow, there are level 50-55-60-65-70 fulll set of gear to sell , and dias cost, what? 8 k per? and not 180 k per ? hold on, let me cehck teh price of a 65 OD, yey, nice 2 millions !!
and ANY random guy GUILDLESS takes less than 20 min to find a PUG party to run an instance?

some of these responses come from high spenders. others come from f2p players.

the high spenders want to keep the game p2w. the f2p want to keep the game, well, f2p. a subscription format would impede both of those playstyles.

however, many people have asked for RoM to become sub based(yes, including people in this thread)(do a quick little search and you can see). imo, times have changed. RoM CAN'T afford to become sub based. it would drive away too many of the players. heck, i know people who already pay more than an "acceptable" sub fee and they would still be driven away simply due to the fact that it would be required spending.

also, what ruisen said is true. f2p with cash shop is the new model. RoM is just still kinda expensive.

One of the best features of this game is the Free to Play and the IS, in my opinion. I love the individuality that this game allows you to have. I have played subscription games and there is no challenge for me, I mean every one is the same, there is not a darn thing unique about your toon. With ROM, you can come here level a toon or toons and have a blast and it will cost you nothing. Then you have options to grind make gold buy diamonds, or just buy buy diamonds, either way its your choice. Everyone is not the same and that is what I like most about this game.

I love the fact that you have to work hard to get to endgame, if there is such a thing, lol. I mean, I been playing for almost 5 years and I think I would be considered endgame but I don't feel that way. There is always something more that I want and I will continue to purchase and enjoy all that this game has to offer, but purchase at my own discretion, not Rom's.

This game do get boring at times because of the waiting for items that you need, and they really should add them to the item shop. It also has times when everyone gets kind of tired of having to do the same ole stuff day in and day out, and I think that GF or whomever need to do more to wake the game up more often than they do. Personally I like it when they do a rebalance, that kind of gets a fire going in a lot of people. They have not done that in ionssss. Do EEEET!!

I can see them trying, with all the events and stuff but I think that they need to take some of the suggestions that the experienced player base have here on forums to improve game play for everyone.

i want a cheaper game too
i d , of course prefer if Rom stays F2P
BUT , i want the game to be saved FIRST.
Prioritie is, saving the game.
i dunno how u feel guys, but , personnaly, i wont turn my back to a game i " love " jsut because " money " is required.
but will do when the game " changed " , not the one i felt in love anymore .

then, let s change the sub basd idea
make it buy once, well, it s not F2P anymore, might drive out a lot of players
BUT, if the result of " buy once " and GF gets the necessary money to do all the change needed, taht might bring MORE players than it have currently . if those 2 ideas are not good, then , change teh content of teh game ? i dunno, something has to be done.

anyway, i jsut want MORE players in the game and i don t mean HUNDREDS, so people can run dungeons, anytime, anywhere, no conditions allowed.
is it bad to want to see taht AH is full of stuff to sell? at ANY LEVELS ? from 1 to 85 , with a price , ANYONE will say, " hey it s cheap, let me get it "
