yes seriously. there are a lot of people that well was like ooooh new content.. then leveled two levels and went almost perma afk because theres nothing new to do :)

tbh imho here... i think you shouldve just waited to release new content when instance is ready, what was reason to release content before instance?

Is there some sort of timetable we are trying to follow?

most people were level capped in a day or two. then same old same old after... :dash:

This is getting ridiculous. It's been, what, two-three weeks since new content was released? The incompetence is just sad. Don't release new zones without releasing the new instance, it's completely pointless to level to 87 and then sit around doing the same thing we've been doing for months.

I heard a rumor that they are holding off the new content until they can make the trash impossible to burn and will 1 shot everyone the second you walk in the door to drive up golden repair hammer and big angel's sigh sales. Or maybe just until the level 97 cap comes out, who knows. :thumbsup:

Ok before the patch I said exactly this

I said they should hold off the patch if the all the new content wasn't ready. People still wanted the patch (my guess is the hope that instance was going to be released then or soon), but if they are going to leave anything out, you better believe instances will be at the top. Heck they did it with Grotto on the last update.


Instead people still wanted the patch, still wanted the new content. They should have known, most likely the instance wouldn't be open and therefore should have been ok with a hold off of the new content.


I would rather them wait with the level cap if new instance isn't ready, but ill just keep farming waiting to get the new stuff and be ready when it rolls out.

People will always complain no matter what. If they don't release the patch..."what's taking so long?! Im bored. I want to quest." If they do release the patch.... "why no instance?! It's bugged as always. Im bored. I want to run something new." Guys should take things slower, maybe save some quests for secondary or even third class. As we all know, this game isn't very friendly in terms of leveling 2 classes, let alone 3. I certainly am not paying for daily reset tickets. Just take your time and don't rush things through.

PS. I still got some quests from Syrbal Pass and all from Sarlo, Fjord, and the new Jungle but I am saving them for second class. Leveled my first just doing goblins everyday and once in a while fast dailies when Im in a hurry and don't want to change to second class.

Anyone who goes "zone release without instance release should not be done" is free to ignore zone till instance comes out. The rest of us are glad to see a new zone and new stats/gear/mats, etc.

Instance designed and able to go thru 1 yr ago. Are you implying that it takes over 1 year, which in the meantime they have already designed and programmed all the instances up to 100, that Boss and mob creation and implementation can't maintain a similar pace?

I completely disagree. The failure to release the instance with the new content is solely on GameForge's part. In part to slow progression down. and possibly to have their own changes they want to it implemented. Runewaker already had it fully made to thier own specifications.

Sorry but it is indeed "one of those servers" as this has not been done on any of the official servers.

The layout and the base zone are always patched in a long time before the content will be finally published and the sheer layout or the looks are hardly the problem with an instance. It is indeed about the mobs and bosses.

Ok... let me add this.

How can you think it has anything to do with GF???? I mean do you really think that GF has that type of power to control what RW implements in the patches?

Let me just give you examples of how you are wrong. Broken quest lines, GF tries to get them fixed... Have to wait for RW. Joining the fight, GF pushed for a work around/fix from RW... eventually had to do their own. GF isn't given information on the patch until the last minute... not because they don't ask for it, because RW wont give it.

Lets face it, you are wrong to think GF is the one that has the influence on how things are released. It is RW and all GF can do is pressure them to speed it up. This is the way it always has been. Remember when it took RW months to put in autocomplete on Autopsy quest? Then another 6 months to actually fix the quest?

It has always been RW when any thing content wise is delayed/not released


Any why people have any lust for those "other servers" is beyond me and don't try to "explain" it to me. I know all the things they can do, and cant do. How? Cause I was a part of running a private server for another game and I know the issues/benefits of them. The reason the instances are "open" cause they probably use "things" to bypass blocks in the coding, there are no monsters there cause they don't have the data files for them, cause they aren't finished yet.

Saito is right... which do you think takes longer, designing terrain? or determining skills, dmg, stats/attributes, testing them, revamping them, strats (we hope), testing them, lets not forget you can use the same map for easy/normal/hard, but not the same mobs/bosses so that is 3x the work for that right there. Not to forget loot/distribution tables, quests that will be involved and making sure they work right, Bethomia- Dragon Scroll anyone? (which unless I am mistaken STILL doesn't work right and we haven't had a GM event to fix it like we were supposed to again- now THAT is GF's fault).

However, I can see how you might think that just making the terrain is far easier than all of that *rolls eyes*

Gameforge is not responsible for the programming/coding of the game, they are the publisher/distributor and at the mercy of Runewaker for content. Instead of having endgamers complain that the new instances is not open, well here is an idea, HELP OTHERS OUT WITH THE PREVIOUS INSTANCES and stop being greedy and trying to control the economy. Well that is just me and my vision of being friendly and nice to others and not being a self centered moron.

Like Rustyx said in his own wise words, read his post. That guy is a golden god for words in my book.

I want to thank the team for putting those recipes in the IS, great move and really appreciate it. The IS looks awesome now with all the new stuff and the great prices, TYVM!!!!!!

This has nothing to do with wanting to control the economy and being greedy. We're bored as hell. Grotto was the easiest, most boring instance since RT dia. We barely want to run it ourselves let alone run other people through it.

Designing a map is a lot quicker than designing the contents of that map. Making the map just takes a graphics engine and some artists, and with a good engine, they can make decent maps in a few days, maybe less.

He scrolled out to an empty stretch of area and designed a decently looking forest complete with a lake, grass, snow, background mountain with forest in 10 minutes lol. Ofc, the trees and water animations are already available and he just had to put them in the map, but I'm sure RW does that too.

well, from what i understand, GF was the one that pulled grotto from the last expansion, not RW. so yes, they do have some control, just not the kind of control we'd like them to have.
