Thought I'd start a thread to discuss the strats and observations for the instance.
First boss (Hardmode): Boss casts Charged Sonic Sting, which seems to be a close ranged aoe that hits multiple times and makes the ground orange around it. I think the AoE starts hitting harder as the fight goes on. Because our group survived the first few of these, but after awhile it seems to instantly oneshot the entire melee group. Has anyone tried silencing this cast or moving boss away from orange spot? Ranged got hit by a straight line AoE that seemed to be % based but didn't seem to hit too hard.
After 20 seconds, a yellow message says "In the distance, a deep metalic sound rings out" and first mob spawns. They seem to spawn once every 10 seconds after that. We tried killing the mobs, but they had too much HP, and we couldn't kill it before next mob spawned. When we ignored the mobs, by the time we died we were up to 4 mobs and it was a giant lagfest of confusion.
Third boss (normal): 3 containers spawn on the ground in front of the entrance to the room, and they cast several AoE's that hit for 20-30k but seems to hit several times as well. The containers can be avoided as their AoE have short range. Curse of the Soul Devourer is a AoE cast that hits for a large amount of everyone's HP and leaves a DoT on everyone it hits. Can be magic immuned against.
Last boss (normal): There's a yellow message that says something along the times of devices resonating to the boss, and the boss resonates back. When that happens, the tank gets hit for like 20 times. Devices have 7m HP. Also, boss heals. Anyone know if he heals when he reaches a certain % of his HP, or after a certain time period, or after a cast? I don't think I saw any casts before he healed but I could have missed it. Also a crap ton of AoE's at this boss. He was annoying on easy and normal... I wouldn't want to see him in Hardmode lol.
