The door on 3rd boss bugs in easy mode too, happened to us multiple times. As for having PPK people having a pet named by us just shows how we stir the pot and people can't get enough of us. We faced you a couple of times in siege and we never gave up, we don't care, we will try our best not like some other people who say it'S not worth their time of waisting an hour against PPK or Heretic LOL.

[Flames removed - Saito]

Needundead, very post, we will let you know what we figure out this weekend on normal and hardmode and SHARE the info, the more people who run it, the more prices will go down and the more people will enjoy themselves in the game on all servers. Not just a select few, Cloak i am not stealing your thunder here ;-) we miss you Cloakschemer!!!!!

I have to agree with you on a few things there Zid. As for BBs videos, I have a few things I want to say

1) it is nice that he puts them up
2) The new ones don't help anyone else. In some he tells strat like belathis. Others like Grotto, he seems completely lost and spends more time trying to figure out what is going on, than showing anything helpful... I wouldn't post videos like that if I were him.
<removed>
4) I lolled at the pet too Zid, I was like someone loves Zid lololol

I will say though in PPK defense (Yes I know, hell has frozen over), they have changed a lot in the last year. They are not as bad as they were. They have some great members that I have made good and fair trades with, lots have done the free gear with your ABL offers, and at least BB tried to inform other guilds of how to use alts/different char classes to increase DPS like them. It isn't there fault that there are some guilds on Artemis (which I have been in) that still don't use the basics of how to increase DPS, and therefore still cant clear Beth HM consistently, regardless of having more than enough DPS that are well enough geared. The guild I am thinking about, their main problem is 2 healers, 1 tank, rest DPS... Druids not using debuffs, no one having siege title debuffs/buffs or they don't know how to use them. No one rolling as a s/r, just for the debuffs, no k/w, etc.... just bad mmkkay. Did I go off on a rant? Ooops sorry. Back to topic. PPK has gotten better, but other than that I cant say much except for those that I have traded with who have been fair on prices and all around decent players. Never fought them in siege though.

As for the new instance, I haven't had the inclination to try to solo/duo on easy, but I probably will soon and give my insights.

Also, honestly, I do appreciate people who enjoy the game, and show it by being exuberant (maybe that comes from all the DotA2 I watch and do) and loud. I don't even remember the last time I was so excited by doing something like that. This instance also held the most pre-excitement for me. The values looked amazing. The defense of the bosses are so high. It sounded amazing :'). Sorry I yelled in your ears!

My videos are also shown to show the difficulty and the DPS needed to acquire "burn status" on bosses nowadays. The last instance that required a strat was 82 [belathis] and before that it was 75 [before I figured out which debuffs to use for bosses] so before that it was ToSH [70].

(Also feel like I'm the only endgamer showing any kind of endgame content currently. IF THERE IS ANYONE ELSE PLEASE LINK. I WILL GLADLY SUBSCRIBE AND HELP THEM. I'm sure people are curious what it is like and how bosses operate.) Also, I seem to have happy subscribes, and that's what I asked for :) Maybe some people pick up more than what some other people fail to see :)

In addition to that, its also the way they gear. Endgame players barely stat any stam for PvE (at least on Govinda... mages here are pushing only 45k HP unbuffed with 6 x int/ma on every piece of gear) and most of them don't have more than 60k HP. Regular people don't gear like that, we gear with a lot more stam on our gear.

@Cike: Instance is still a burn. Prime also have PoMH videos for boss 1-5 and aside from 5, they burned all of it.

I do appreciate BB's videos though, even if just to see what HM run looks like.

Also, on last boss, where several devices spawn, one device will have a yellow glow whereas the other don't, so if anyone want to go poke around with the glowy one to see what happens...

eh, at least it's a HARDER burn. i misspoke in my previous statement. it's good to watch endgame guilds struggling with an instance, instead of clearing in <2 hours on their first run...

I hope this isnt the case with M/W's on our server..

One of your biggest burn abilities utilizes STAM and STR. And since you sure as heck better not be statting with STR, you wont be getting much of a boost from that half of the ability. So I recommend you stat with SOME STAM..I STILL go mostly 6/3/3 with the occasional 6/4/2 for more MATTK

But in my opinion, if you're not statting with any STAM as a M/W, you've pretty much giimped a major part of your burn.

The argument can be made that "oh if you're low on STAM just use a Rock Trans Pot"..but, you know..you're a mage..if you're gonna use a transformation pot, use the Donichuka pot for more INT, and in turn more MATTK

And on that note, I think we're about due for another transformation pot sale, eh?

If thats the case than they should truly be ashamed because its just not true, taunting other guilds is just good fun, I mean you digitally simulate murder against them on a nightly basis, but calling a group bad and its OMG, rlly gtfo the internet.

On topics, an instance lasting more than 2hours is a struggle? the last 5 ini's have been garbage

Cerb people name their pets very often Zidlef also loll, i find it funny and cracks me up all the time, it doesn't bother me one bit, i take it as a compliment and recognized ;-).

I always think that discussions are good and constructive, this for Pillar strat is going good and people giving info and help on strat is awesome!!!!! I wish people would put out more videos on previous one and new ones explaining stuff. There was a french guild that were putting out complete strat, we got the one for GCH and TOSH from them.

Even if strat is shared for new instances not a lot of guild will be able to complete them, but they will try at least and keep them interested and wanting more ;-)

hah gotta love it :dash:@acypcar90 f for the m/warr 70 elite what you could do is just make a set of alt gear all str/stam and have a gear swap macro to swap to your dps gear once you have used your 70 elite might take some getting used to though but it would definitely give you a good boost to int while playing as m/warr hope this help.

Wouldn't this be considered an exploit?? if not why would P/S all mage gear and statted needed to be destroyed the way they did it?? They can use STR/STAM and switch gear and keep all benefits?? this is just wrong and needs to be fixed

Wisdom and Bravery : Gives your Brute Strength an extra increase in Stamina. After it is used, it increases your Intelligence by 50% of your Stamina plus 50% of your Strength. Lasts 30 seconds. from http://runesofmagic.gamepedia.com/Mage_Elite_Skills#Mage_.2F_Warrior
if you have a alternate set of gear on your mage/warr gear that is str/stam statted jst have it on and while you are getting ready to burn a boss use brute str to get the boost swap over to your real dps gear and pound that boss. not really sure if or how that an exploit but who knows i hope its not.

Absolutely the last warning. If you are going to post in this thread, make bloody certain that your post is in regard to the strategies involved in running the Pillars of Morfan instance. Nothing more, and nothing less will be acceptable.

ANY further off-topic posts, and this thread gets locked.

Have I made myself abundantly clear?

All information/Observations from easy mode, duo'ing with 1 healer.

First Boss:
1) He casts a debuff on players called mutation. I'm unsure how to avoid this. While in a party the only times I got it were when I did low damage to the boss at the beginning, but when solo'ing I got it after burning 80% of the boss hp and then waiting to see if he cast it (he did and i died). Mutation is a % based dot, does an initial hit and might also be a stun....if you don't avoid it you die.

2) Energy Release -- instant cast spell, % hp based aoe. Occurs roughly every 20s. Hits quite high, and is the most problematic skill aside from Mutation debuff (on easy mode).

3)Charge Sonic Sling -- 2s cast time. Upon completion 2 different effects appear in the room. The first are columns of blue light. Think of these as target selections. They do no damage. 2 or 3 seconds after the column appears, a large, fancier, circular effect appears. This is a
knockdown of 1 second and % based hit. The columns followed by the dmg/knockdowns occur 6 times. Sometimes an orange circular debuff appears on players "marked" by the blue columns, but videos show that this debuff doesn't appear all times. Simply run away from the columns of blue light, avoiding the actual damage. No blue column, no need to move. In easy mode it targets 3 things (pets included) at a time. As long as your players avoid the damage/knockdown, the only damage done is by Auto Attacks from the boss.

4) Gorligen's Cannon -- seems to Occur roughly 30s after the orange stacking BUFF named Flaming Wrath reaches 3, although one time this was skipped one fight (I suspect because he was in the middle of another mechanic when it came time to use this skill). Does a lot of damage on normal mode, some suggested that more distance reduces damage taken.

5) Adds Spawn. They spawn every 25 or so. Once the boss is under 50%, he will gain one stack of a stacking buff each time he spawns an add. This increase the number of add spawns each round. So first spawn after 50% is 1 mob, 25s later 2 , then 3 etc.

Suggested Method for fighting (if you can't burn): Use 3min cds only (or none) at the start. Dps boss slowly but surely down to 51%, while avoid Sonic Slings and Gorligen's Cannon. Use cooldowns, using serenstum if needed to play instrument, and dps boss from 51% to 0 as fast as possible, still while avoiding danger skills. Ignore the adds, focus on the boss -- the adds themselves don't pose a huge threat as long as your tank(s) are able to get aggro on them.

Second Boss:

1) every 30s he casts "Heavy Strike of the Incubator", 5second cast time. This skill does more damage the closer you are to the boss. I picked the entrance as a point to run to, went there every time he casts the spell, then moved him back to the center before he casts the next one. Picking a focal point means everyone stays grouped up for heals.

2) After the cast, 2 adds spawn, giving the boss (and both adds) a buff. This buff deals damage back to attackers. I suggest having 1 or 2 people saving damage cooldowns for these adds. This reduces the number of players receiving reflected damage, but also still lets you kill the adds. Failure to kill the adds gives the boss a red/orange buff called Fury increasing his damage. This doesn't appear until the 50 or 60 stacks of Sound Wave on the boss disappear. Might be more on hard mode.

3) The adds themselves. Aside from the buff they have that deals damage to attackers, they cast a 1s spell. This spell stuns its target for 4s and when it expires it causes that player to do % based aoe dmg to all nearby players. Let your tank get aggro and then stay away from the tank. I didn't try silencing them as I did not have a silence to try. If your entire group is at the entrance, they won't aggro, but you risk the boss getting the Fury buff and 1/2 shotting your tank.

After adds are dealt with (or perhaps while fighting them) drag the boss back to the middle of the room, so you can be prepared to run again from the Heavy Strike spell.
