Can we please get some decent stats to drop in normal mode...

Its been so many instances now since decent stats have pretty much ceased dropping in normal. After a dozen Pillar normal runs and numerous grotto normal runs the best stats I've seen is Patk/hp and Str/hp... And I think the first 4 bosses in BethN don't even have a chance to drop a decent stat (They might as well just get rid of those bosses...).

And aside from damage pants in PoMn last boss, gear from normal mode is crappy because they have no crit. I mean, what's the point of normal mode if people can't get any loot from normal that benefits them??

The downside of physical DPS =/. Mage stats ( int/matt and sta/matt) do drop on easy although you need an extractor. They also drop on normal. Mages can also farm sta/matt from Dreamland which is equivalent to grotto/fjord stats.

I don't think Int/matk drop off of normal, do they? If they did they'd be so rare that it isn't feasible to farm for them in normal.

Only good stats from normal are int/matk and stam/def (illusion/prot).

Both drop off first boss.

Romwelten loot tables for Pillar is out. Only last boss has a chance to drop Stam/Pa, Str/Pa, Dex/pa, Int/stam and stam/wis. Drop chance of each of these stats is 1 in 80 or 1.25%. So yeah, they're pretty much not there...

Drop chance of Int/ma in normal first boss is 1/25 and third/fourth boss is 1/50. While pillar normal is not insanely difficult, it is not exactly very easy either and does take 1-1.5h for a midgame guild. So aside from maybe Int/ma (which I have not seen after a dozen runs, I guess on average I'll still have to do another dozen runs to see one), farming stats from normal mode is really not feasible.

You just beat me to it lol. I was going to reply with the link. Anyways, yes, int/matt (illusion of the pillar) does drop in easy as well as normal.

@Acypar90 you're right sta/matt is not a good mage stat because mages have intelligence multipliers, so statting intelligence for them is better because of hero pots. Nevertheless, my point was that mages had more options in terms of statting than physical DPS.

But either way, the drop chance of these stats is way too low. The stats are there... in theory. But for any practical purposes for an average midgame guild that actually need those stats, they don't really exist.

It also hurts that we dont have a 6 man stat farm the way instances used to be released. It also hurts that we dont have good stats off mems.

Gch: gear. Sardo: stat. Tosh: gear. Ac: stat. Kbnh: gear. Beth: stat. Bela:?.

And then beth + meant that only hard mode was worth running. Sometimes easy mode is worth it. Such a hard nerf to stat farming, and thus to gearing :-\ poor decisions.

normal should have all the "regular" stats & hard should have chances to drop orange/red stats.

From the last boss (Horban) some items have stats from group 7 and 8. These contain:

Quoted

stats7:
Ability of the Pillar: 171 Strength, 427 Physical Attack
stats8:
Triumph of the Pillar: 171 Dexterity, 427 Physical Attack
Still, the chance to get these is really tiny...

- good stats (dex-str-sta/patt) dropped only from 5th boss in beth-nm
- good stats (dex-str-sta/patt) dropped only from 3rd boss in goh-nm
- good stats (dex-str-sta/patt) dropped only from 5th boss in pom-nm

- int/matt drops in em/nm as of 80-cap and after

- bring back the "good stats" from mems as it was before 72-cap... make the game breath again with ppl partying up

Well zid, I don't think is as contradictory as you present it.

The core of this game is about group runs to gather better gear. If you get only LD stuff, or just useless stats - these runs will be disappointing; the part of the "fun" about them is to actually have a feeling of progress. If every 80 runs one person will get one good stat - just forget about this.

I think that's what this thread is about: you get nothing worthy from normal-mode instance, so you have to be fully geared-up in earlier instances and jump right into hard-mode PM. Is this the optimal progress scenario?

And the balance is quite another thing. It would be great if you actually needed the normal-mode stats etc to run the HM instance. But it will never be like this, I'm afraid- what is so attractive in this game (possibility to mod your gear in so many ways) is also what means that well made old gear is way better than poorly made new gear (and fully making the new gear in a perfect way is simply too expensive). That's also partially why the +20 pluses were so wrong - there is no point in changing gear if your old +20 stuff is better... I don't see myself any clear solution for the balancing problem. But it is quite independent of the drop of normal-mode instances.

It simply does not feel right if there is absolutely no point in going to the normal-mode PM...

That and with a good party normal mode may be farmable for more mementos I guess.

Something else that would be nice would be durability...

Easy mode should have a low possibility of dropping set gear & that set gear should have a durability range of 50-100, non set gear should have NORMAL durability range of 60-110
Normal mode should have a high possibility of dropping set gear & that set gear should have a durability range of 60-110
Hard mode should always drop set gear & that set gear should always have a chance to have an orange stat + durability of 90 - 120

UURE is right, not only endgames should be getting stats. Mid tier level guilds should be getting stats too. Not really fair that they have to buy them.

easy mode: all yellow instance stats, but dirty. 7 piece set.
normal mode: all yellow instance stats, clean 4 piece set. Crit on Each piece (possibly same amount as hard mode because no damage on pants. If not 20% less than hard mode] (damage in 4piece bonus)
hard mode: all yellow/red instance stats, clean. How it currently is

Would be good to see PoM's in instances aswell so not only the best can prosper.

@zid, what is with your hate? Why do you extremely loathe people who have attempted so much and have gotten so far in this game? Why do you completely hate endgamers? Why do you hate it and take it to heart when an endgamer says something constructive to help everyone, and you immediately think that they are saying it for their own good? Some people like to see everyone have a fair fight. It's not for an advantage like you think.

You and one other person on the forums have recently changed their attitude to just flameorunio with no criticism. It's not who you people used to be. You could be harsh and then give insight. Now it's just flame flame flame. Fin. No help whatsoever. Just a post saying "complaining again, get over it." (I hope the other person reads this)

:)
