Runes of Magic US / AU

Hey all!

I posted a topic a few weeks back about the possibility of starting up a guild of alts to play the game oldschool, roughly up through chapter 2.

I know the thread itself didn't get a lot of feedback but I have gotten quite a few pms, emails, and in game whispers asking me if I would go ahead and do it because people were interested to give it a go! So I've done it. I've went ahead and formed the guild on Reni and we would love it if you guys came and gave it a shot. The next few days will probab;y be slow as I track down all of those people who sent me messages and we start to grow in size.

The main goal of this guild is to play the game with a group of other people as though it were still chapter 2 and hopefully, someday be able to clear HoS, ZS, and DL together using only lvl 55 chars, 55 gear, stats from 55 gear or less, no leveling in the Coast of Opportunity, no diamonds, etc. It's just a fun side project for people who wish to go back and play some of the old content that everyone seems to say they love and miss.

We look forward to running all stuff from 1 to 55 and just making new friendships, no pressure to rush through things or be a power gamer. And if you already have a main endgame toon as I, it's like a fun fresh new start, where people will have no idea who you are, unless of course you choose to tell them.

If it sounds even remotely interesting, create a new toon and pm Monkers on Reni to get an invite. I am so excited to see that this project may go somewhere, as I see others start to take interest.

So far so good, everyone is having a blast and as everyone starts to get to the same point, we are hoping to get to have some fun running Forsaken Abbey a few times this weekend. It's a nice slow pace but we having a great time.

And yeah, Asphodelix had it about right there. I can post more rules in the main post in a bit but really it's not really a dictatorship, I just wanted to give people a place where they can play older content with other people and have fun.

We did it!!!
