Give a specific channel for PVP, and make it so you have to have the PK flag on for certain amount of time before you can kill or be killed, and a delay between clicking it off and actually leaving PK mode. That would eliminate peple running around looking 'safe' then hitting the flag for a sneak attack and clicking it off when they start to lose.Well i remember at one point after a patch or maintenance, on Reni, we had channel 3 that became PvP till they fixed it. So i think they can actually do that, make like a channel 5 for PvP for everyone and it's settled. Then people can start complaining about how the other player stole his gear etc lol, but that will be another headache for the GM's ;-)
I think what Zid was trying to say is that for those who want to PvP openly can go to a specific channel (channel 5) while those who do not want to PvP can stay on channels 1-4.. I like PVP battles, but not open PVP.
If they merged all servers it would be good to have a PVP zone or channel. It should be high level and comes with a warning of "enter at your own risk." You get a 1 minute immunity as soon as you arrive (you can't PK and can't be PK'd), but as soon as that minute was up you were fair game. The additional benefit would be if guilds want to war against each other they could meet up in the zone and go crazy whacking each other. Not only would you have to look out for the other players but also the high level NPCs.

I would LOVE to have ALL of the servers merged into one, however, I'm not going to re-list my reasons why as they have been listed several times already.![]()
I see, apologies.I read his post and understood clearly what he said about a specific channel for PVP.
The problem is that you are not always on the same channel you logged out of, so simply logging on could place you on the PVP channel.
Requiring a conscious action the player needs to make before entering PVP would eliminate accidentally logging onto PVP
The PK flag is already in game, alternatives would be to have an NPC in each zone you can speak with to enter the PVP channel, or simply keep a separate PVP server.
Edit I really love a good fight, duels, guild battles, and a nicely balanced siege area blast, but I don't want to be on a full time PVP server.
