Well in all honesty, even with all those buffs, unless it is a m/w with str/stam gear, our dps won't come close to a R/M or a WD/W with just amp or AoW.. lol

i see your point, but the issue isn't so much "buff balance", it's more class balance in general. once you balance classes, then balance buffs...

thats just my opinion though.
my r/p can outdps r/m. your name is stupid.

mages should stack dex. word.

stacking damp and amp i think should be permanent, my two cents there. I watch mages bring d/wd, p/s, m/p, etc etc with them on runs because they have x amount of ma buffs that ALLL stack. lol qq

I don't see where this is coming from. I have to make 2 sets of gear, level 3-4 different alts, HAVE TO go outside and get rebuffs (while all my Melee guildies just stay inside with their D/W or even P/x I might add..) and I'm now just about keeping up in burn DPS. The disparity in the two types of DPS is so bad. Worst part is those "scripted" deaths that don't even damage your gear's durability... alt buff killers :<

You know why Patk buffs don't stack? There's no Mdef counterpart Debuff to Tactical Smash (-20% PDef) that just anyone can get. If they made Tac Smash reduce Mdef by the same % as pdef, sure go ahead stack all the patk buffs. Until then I'd have to disagree.

You can say, well there's Mage/Druid but nobody's going to take a M/D anywhere unless there's more than the rare 1-3 magic DPS (at least from my experience) in the raid to justify their spot in the raid as a DEBUFFER because we all know how RoM is so unbalanced.

I'd be against Damp + amp just because melee do insane DPS perfectly fine without them stacking. They don't need it.
That said, banning someone for it is a pretty bad idea. In that case, they might as well ban everyone who stacked speed buffs before since apparently RW decided they shouldn't have stacked.

Some interesting points in this thread but I vehemently disagree with any claims that bans for this “exploit” are in consideration of game balance. To even suggest that is an insult to the player base IMO. How this can even be considered an “exploit” at this point is beyond me unless there are suddenly too many people running content now that they have a bit more power?

If the game were even remotely balanced right now it might be a different story. Not only are there very few players even attempting to run content anymore, the last time I checked (which is daily btw) those who do actually run instances only use only a few select combos with a
bunch of buff alts hanging outside the instance so they can burn every boss (bad game design example but that's another topic). What’s next? Banning alts for loitering in front of the instance?

Maybe if someone higher up at GF and/or RW actually read these forums for a change they would see how absolutely fed up and frustrated a lot of players are right now with the game. I know listening to their customers is not their strong suit but it’s not too late to at least try.
