Congratulations to the RoM sales team who has officially made Santa's naughty list with this holiday sale. Package 40 alone is over $30!

In order for that to be even remotely appealing there would have to be a concurrent 300%+ diamond sale which there is not.

So congratulations sales team, please enjoy that lump of coal in your Christmas stockings.

The whole sale thing for old schoolers is one thing, new peeps might not know about "frogsters" era, but someone seems to be trying, if not we wouldnt have a single sale, though viewed as somewhat a bad sale, this is a business, they are trying to make money, if you few that dont like it wont buy, there are those that will.

best to not complain and inform them, the few that dont know, what is good , what is bad, so then maybe the powers that be, might then listen to what the community suggests about sales. Which they have sometimes.. and this post is getting long it is a game after all.

lol - where to start...

First, seems like alot of folks still persist in the "bad froggy" mentality. If that's you, please go back and look at the dates. GF has been in control of this game for a much longer time than Frogster ever was and they (froggy) had the dubious joy of starting the game up from beta and all the fun issues that entailed.

Second, yes you are correct, don't buy if you don't value the sale. Very good advice because there are plenty of folks that are so blindly pay to win and self centered that they will buy regardless of how it messes over the rest of the community.

Lastly, don't complain? Really? Players have very few ways to vent their frustrations with the game and the forums is usually their first stop. Why not vent frustrations on the forums? Who do you think is actually reading the forums? Not decision makers. At least not ones that have taken much into account over the years. Sure, some things have changed but can't we say for sure those changes were based on the forum posts or merely changes that then had those posts associated with it. It's nice to give the benefit of the doubt but when you scroll through the archives there is a lot that has never been addressed.

I realize you are coming from a good place with your suggestions and please understand this is not a personal affront to you or any other player (except those I mention in my second point - if that is you, you are a huge part of the many problems with this game so ya - please feel affronted).
