9pm EST/6pm PST was not that great for the west coasters, because that's during main dinner time, and I don't think most families are that tolerant of not showing up to the dinner table because you have to play a game, unless they're also sieging.personnal grain of salt here, 9 pm east was perfect for us as the estern ppl could siege then go to bed and not be tired the next morning at work/school, was good too for western ppl as they would be home from work. now with 10 pm east it feels a bit late for east time ppl and if we go for 6 pm east then it's too early for the western ppl. Would prefer back to 9 pm east.
Opinion on the multi siege/more often siege. I think the biggest issue would be that with more timeslots the number of guild in each timeslot would end up been smaller. higher chance of a guild not getting paired, less diversity in the ppl you get to fight. personnally not a fan.

... and numerous others Semi-retired
yes.... It was. I think a GM should clean up the things about mercs and put them in a new thread. (And yes, I am guilty of going offtopic about them, too.)I thought this thread was about seige times.
That is why I felt they should be randomly distributed. Anyone can merc and they won't get to completely control a sw for easy badges if they were given a point system. In my opinion the forming of a couple "merc guilds" based on how many mercs sign up would be the best option, though.Any guild that hires a mercenary or employs mercenaries is a foolish guild and becomes lesser for doing so. The most you will get out of it is the experience of seeing a professional in action, but that's why we have Utube. Congrats on moving up to the next bracket, now you are forced to continue to employ mercs or get pummeled back to where you belong. The best way to grow and advance is to do it yourself.
Back to seige times...I liked the way they just were, a slot where both east and west coast people in guild could participate. Now we are back to the split guild situation; the early slot is too early for the West Coast, people are just getting home from work. The late slot, I have East Coast folks telling me, well I can stay for the first half, but then I'm afk on a tower, see y'all tomorrow, or, boom, as soon as seige ends, 1/3 the guild is offline.
