More onto this point, not that I'm trying to get you to stay away from the "main" channel, but IRC is great for hosting large chats of lots of people. If you need a channel dedicated to this purpose just join a channel, something like #RoM.us-NewArtemis and you can chat in there, too. No need to use a channel that is already established, is what I'm getting at.Alternatively, could do it on the RoM IRC channel (channel #runesofmagic.us at irc.OnlineGamesNet.net port 6660).

Everybody with 2 brain cells can come into the forums and make up a story within 10 minutes about how they got banned for nothing.
Everybody with 0 functional brain cells will jump on any good story and simply start bashing either us Mods, the Support or GF per se.
I disagree. I believe that there is much that can be discussed moving forward that will greatly ameliorate the merger experience.I don't know what we would all need to talk about unless its people who already know and want to run with each other
on Artemis our trade and Trade private channels are rather active and people looking for groups often post there. If you can get within the 'cool crowd' there's other channels too for grouping end game.
Might be a good idea to have a flat out pug channel after the merge but something like that is better advertised in world after the point.

Where is the like button for this? GJ Mongo and those like minded in this.I can sort those out for you right now, no need to have a server wide discussion about it.
1. Economy - The people with the gear/dias/stats etc will put them up for whatever they want and prices will quickly normalize based on what is selling and what isn't, that's how an economy works. I can try to sell you a 94 Honda Accord for $30,000 but you won't buy it for that.. You will look at the price of others sold recently and you will pay a similar price for a similar product.
No need to predetermine beforehand what prices to sell things at, it all falls into place.
2. World bosses - You snooze, you lose. That's how it has always has and always will work. The people who get there first upon the boss spawning will get the boss. I assume guilds will go back to using timers to keep up on world bosses now that there will be roughly double the amount of endgamers playing on the same server.. Gotta be quick..
And don't forget, the drama is the best part
3. Communication - there is no "whatever the group decides".. who is the group you speak of? Trade chat is fairly similar on all servers. Generally there is a "Trade" channel. On Reni we happen to have 2 because people are too lazy to type a capital T every time they join trade chat. Generally the same people are in both channels so it doesn't really make sense.
This, like everything else will normalize once the server has been merged. No need for a discussion to float people's egos into thinking they are more important than they are because they are part of "the important discussion"

Nobody wants the kind of 'kiss up' that I can clearly see you detest
