Question about Arcanium

im still one of the simpletons about knowing all the specifics behind opening HOE, etc.

But my question here is.. monday night before servor maintenance the 200 MIL was achieved, and then we had to wait the 36 hours for second phase to end i guess?

Regardless, the second phase never finished before servor maintenance obviously...

And after maintenance it went back to phase 1 and dropped the gold count back to somewhere around 90 million ?

Is that fair? is that the way its supposed to be?

If by chance people go over and accumulate 200 mil right before servor maintenance OH WELL, try again next week do not pass go, do not collect 200$ and meanwhile we steal over 100 mil from your servor AND restart everything on you??

Kind of qq, more of help of understanding why i guess....

Before people say dont open it on monday due to these unforeseen consequences... people go over all the time and spam jess hays for buffs, and not many actually pay attention to the gold count except for those of us, that actually want to get in there and run it... for most its just another buff for runs.. so is really hard to tell an entire servor WAIT dont contribute anymore till after maintenance or we will be screwed!

I'd say this is a bug. Try talking to saito or another gm about it. IRC is usually the fastest option.

Also, to change the title of a thread, you edit your OP and then change the title of it.

Seems arcanium is totally bugged ATM on many servers. Since HoF patch HoE just hasnt closed on my server. Even after maint. Seems that opening it can also bug with maintain, but yes chat to saito on irc and I'm sure he can fix it. Its a known issue that something is broken regarding it anyway.

I would love to get on IRC channel and talk to people but a lot of the time i check forums like once a day through my phone, for maybe 5 minutes is all i have time for... was really hoping saito or another could comment on this... here... instead.

Well i think it should remain open all the time, for the issue Cerb mentionned, it happened on Reni too poof do it again. Just as there is no way to complete any of it unless in an endgame guild, since it's only burn burn burn. Would be nice to have Runewaker brain people, doubt they have any of those but still, maybe try to put real strategy so everyone could try it out, first boss 20 seconds or all die, unless there is a strat but as usual no one will share any information.

Try using serenstum? xD if boss isnt dead in 40 secs i doubt you could do full anyway, and 5th boss crypt hm actually has a nice tactic for once thats not just burn or die. But i would like to see more tactical bosses to.

I'm pretty sure I told you that the bugs dealt magical damage and could be magically immuned, Zid... Also, when the boss spawns the adds, he starts using a physical aoe. He spawns the adds every 20 seconds. Have fun. Btw: they deal 160% of your hp to you. Need 39% damage reduction to live with 1% hp.

Arcanium Chamber issues are known and being worked on. The problems have appeared with the last patch that also enabled the Hall of Fire and the whole temple system kinda degraded over time. We've taken note of it but after checking all possible causes on our end it looks like it's a bigger issue which needs Runewaker to fix it. We're currently not touching the system manually to gather more data about the problems. I guess once the next steps are clear we can just manually reopen it to phase3 (instances) again, as to compensate for the gold/mats rollbacks - just not instantly atm because manually closing/reopening it would destroy (ofc) the broken state it is in, but only for the time being, as it does not *solve* the problem and likely just make it bound to happen again the next maintenance or the day after should another gold phase complete.

About Hall of Earth:
If you watch the mechanics closely you'll notice that Boss1 Hall of Earth and a certain other boss in a very similar place have a very similar mechanic ;) (except for their look). Basically the way it currently is, boss1 is a gigantic DPS check instead of a meh-dps check + coordination check (which b1 Origin was) because the values of the adds are totally out of balance. That's the downside of it. The upside is if you can defeat the first boss you should not have any problems clearing the instance once you understand whats going on at the further bosses.

So basically if you are not with the top DPS of the server there is no chance of doing it 12 man, got it. Just stupid, at least make it a 24 man raid to have the not top 1 guild on the servers be able to do it too, but i guess this is alright since people will gamble on getting there gear to +20 and hope to be able to do it. Will just have to wait like Varanas nightmare and do it when we are 20 levels higher than HOE is to clear it, so non endgame people can keep their mats and gold and not waist their time even attempting getting in there.

Zeri, i know about serenstum and magical immunes but you couldn't heal it for us and ran out once the boss and mobs spawned so ya. Well when we are level 120 we will have to go in and try it out one day.

There is absolutely nothing stopping you from attempting this instance (when it is open). You may not be able to clear it, but you can definitely try. So, that being said, how does that make GF or RW or anyone else for that matter, greedy?

VN wasn't cleared for months. HoS wasn't cleared for months. this is the first time since GCH or before that we have an actually (relatively) challenging instance that may take a couple level caps to clear. considering the reward for clearing is probably one of the best scaling sets in the game (aoth 2.0), there is nothing wrong with waiting a bit to clear it like VN for aoth.

that being said, even palenque cleared HoE already, so compared to some instances, we're already "ahead" with it.


i fail to see the problem. a good number of instances have a "gear check" boss. usually first or second. DoD first is gear check. if most of your party didn't have 20k HP, you didn't clear, simple as that. this instance simply checks your dps.



if you don't clear HoE for a few caps, thats fine, the accessories will still most likely be BiS. it is literally aoth all over again.

Definitely agree, but Palenque has only cleared it once, so I wouldn't consider it an accomplishment until they farm it. What a joke of a server.

Govinda has another thing coming once they learn how Palenque players are via the merge. LOL gl with that bteam ;) recruit those top dps xD

these aoth sets most likely wont be replaced for melee till POSSIBLY 100 content id say... MAYBE... for mages.... this new set will be used till they come out with aoth 3.0 because any good mage now uses VN set still. Gear that is what 28 or so levels lower than new content?

So dont worry you cant clear this content... work with your guild... help gear up your best dps in your guild... and get stronger... its all about da gear progress :)

And dont think you need hoe set to clear anything ffs.

Can still do anything this game has to offer without the set.

But shiny brown stuff... mmmmhmmmmmm.... XD

I only ran out once everyone was dead? You know, that 63% damage reduction helps a lot with survivability. I think you have one too! :eek: And it's hard to heal a oneshot. Sorry. Nothing I can do there except tell you to have better timing. I'd love to see you on your p/s try to heal everyone through the one shot.
