Kashaylan Fix ETA?

Following dates can be found in various forum threads..

May 19th, 2015 - Zone Kashaylan comes out. Instance Veiled Crypt of Kashaylan was disabled.
June 2, 2015 - Instance Veiled Crypt of Kashaylan was enabled.
June 5, 2015 - GM SaitoHajime stated that the bugs with latest instance have been reported to Runewaker.

So, depending on what one uses as a starting point, it has been a while since we had a working latest instance or even fixes for other issues (like broken AH NPC). Any ETA known yet?

I guess I'm hoping it comes next week...

There hasn't been an instance that just works when the patch arrives for quite some time now.. maybe it's time GF/RW stopped releasing patches so quickly if they aren't even going to be complete. I'm sure 95% of the community would prefer that.

I wonder what that happy medium is for ROM when it comes to patch frequency, release content, priorities of fixes, and happy players/customers.

On the one hand, if patches are huge (many changes) or complex, update frequency tends to be long (e.g. months) and end game players start to complain of things not being fixed in timely manner or are bored of current content. Some players don't mind and are still happy as they are busy doing other elements within the game.

On the other hand, if patches are small (minor changes) or easy, update frequency tends to be short (e.g. few weeks). This will make some players happy as to certain things being fixed. However, that doesn't mean whatever is obviously broken on other items will still be included in these small patches (see previous section). Those particular players will still not be happy.

On the other hand (wait, how many hands do I have? :P ), if an update comes out (be it short or lengthy frequency) and is buggy/causes more problems, players will once again complain. Definition of a patch being too buggy is subjective and will cause a different ratio of players being happy.

One will never make everyone happy, but I do wonder what that threshold is where most ROM players/customers will be satisfied.

I can only assume it must be EU complaining that there's not enough to do, because US had barely begun clearing CoE when Kashaylan came out, and we still aren't even close to being done with *that* instance. Ditto with Pillars, there's still many things we need out of there and it's currently 2 instances ago.

There is no reason to be releasing instances as quickly as they have been, especially with droprates for OD/Good stats as low as they are.

EDIT: You can fix bugs and make changes without having to release a new zone with it. It feels like we only get long lists of bug fixes, skill changes, etc. when there's a new zone, and I think that's completely unnecessary. Fix the game's issues before you release new stuff that nobody can/wants/needs to do.

Borella, thanks for proving my point regarding there being different opinions as to what it takes to be satisfied as a ROM player.

In any case, it would still be nice to know roughly how much longer it will be until the next patch will be here.

Yeah, US is definitely not short of content... lol.
Still plenty of str/stams to be farmed from Pomh... my guild just (almost) finished getting everyone GoH set, which is now 7 levels behind now.After pomh, still HoE, crypt to be farmed, eventually... Enough content for like the next 1.5 years lol. Just release newer stats so we can burn harder :D

Reni currently has only one full OD Yarlis set. One. After like a year of running that instance. We don't have a single full OD set from CoE yet. Considering we're running with like 5 actual people and we still can't gear everyone by the time new content hits... that should be a sign that content needs to be slower or droprates need to be changed.

The droprate of OD is completely ridiculous and should be changed to be higher. If anything just make the lowest dura possible something like 85 or 90, so there's at least a slightly better chance that you'll get OD.

Well we used to have 4 level cap raise per year during Frogster, since Gameforge is here we are getting 3 per year if i am correct? so that gives them a longer life span for the game to get to 100 since they have no clue if Runewaker will be willing to go past that cap.

Also we used to have servers full of players in the beginning and a lot of people for instances during Frogster, not so much now.

We used to have great sales and XP/TP events on QUESTS and kills but not anymore.

We used to have no support at all with Frogster but with Gameforge it is AWESOME for that.

GM's during Frogster had their buddies and guildies and give them free GM stuff and hated anyone who wasnt in that list, now GM's just hates us ALL!!! hahaha i'm joking, you only hate me now :P

During Frogster you needed 12 actual people to run endgame content now they do it with 5 people and 7 alt buffer or debuffer and complain OD is too scarce LMAO. Get more actual players in party and maybe run it faster and get more OD?

I still want 4 level cap raise per year, it sucks that instances never seems to be working but at least we can do other things till they fix it. Also regular player as too 95% of the community, it gives them a chance to go and clear instances with their new gear and learn how to clear it, which makes it fun. Can we get level cap raise soon?? i need more crafted gear tyvm.

Think we've had 7 OD scout uppers drop from crypt now, still 0 shoulders xD. I agree making lowest dura would be a better solution, issue is atm that there is 3 instances worth running(crypt,hoe,pom) so currently there just isnt enough time to get them all, so dura change should solve alot of this issues, also they should remove wis/matt and stam/matt orange stats, such a troll to do full run then get that junk -.-

@Zid, our guild runs crypt in 1 hour, hoe in 25 mins and pom in about 35-40, Preety sure you cant get much faster then that, We have 12 players in party, no buff alts. Speed isnt the issue.

Zid you consistently talk about things you know nothing about. We run CoE just as fast with a party of alt buffers as we would with a full party. Many of the times were at the boss before our five minutes are up, so I guarantee that isn't the problem. The problem is the droprate of OD is terrible.

And before this devolves into a QQ don't use buff alts this is why midgame can't get anywhere: When you're worth bringing over a buff alt you get brought.

Borella i get what you are saying about OD, Tienkeem made a thread about it on the forums, we all know OD drops are rare and are supposed to be. I know that when OD drops at 101 and 102 it is frustrating, been there, worst ones Mem pulls for accessories, i don't deny that.

But Runewaker uses too much randomness for most things in this game and Gameforge adds it's own randomness to the mix, would probably be easy for them to adjust but they won't or don't know how sadly.

I only QQ when people act like children and have nothing to add to a post or thread, just leveling their post counts. You and me have been here long enough to know this, at least you know where i stand when i post stuff.
