Hmm so after doing some deep thinking about this item shop shinnanigan some thoughts occured to me.

1) Going to give GF more credit than they are due here. Maybe the reason this new IS is so bad is because they literally made it last night. And they did it probably so players will beg for the old item shop back and then GF can carry on milking the few dumb ones that still buys dias without getting any kind of complaints. Clever, I know, so its unlikely that this plan was devised by GF, but hey its still a possibility.

2) Everyone should realise that despite what it looks like, its the people that have the power. See what happened to the PM of Iceland after the panama paper leak. He was so high and mighty about not resigning and pshh look what happened. So everyone should just go to the suggestions and make a separate thread writing down the things below. And make a new thread every time the cool down is over. They can't ban us all, there's more of us then there are of them.

I have to agree with Bonehawk. The layout and function of this new Item Shop is beyond ridiculous. I am at a loss as to why they would take an Item Shop that functioned well, was coordinated, well sorted, was able to support addons, and just butcher it. Now diamond items and ruby items are mixed together, the interface is super laggy and its just utter chaos.

I can't even begin to vent my frustration at the "Wheel of Destiny". The concept in itself is utter FAIL in my opinion. It was bad before but totally unacceptable in its current condition. This is clearly a money grab and is an insult to anyone that has invested time and money into this game.

As of this morning after I logged in, I swore to not spend another dime on this game until the whole gasha / wheel / gambling with my hard earned dollars is changed. I feel that I spend a fair amount on this game, and to continue to create schemes to cost me more money is just plain stupid. Heck the only reason to even use the wheel is to get those dumb +20 jewels. I guess all my gear will be +16 moving forward.

I could go to other games with a $15 monthly sub and save hundreds, if not thousands a year. You have pushed this loyal RoM gamer to a point today where you have lost my financial contribution to the game until things change.

It makes me quite sad to see the decline and greed coming from the developers.

I don't rant much and usually keep my opinions to myself but I can't hold the disgust in anymore. And I know I am not the only player to feel this way.

I may continue to play, and probably will, but as stated above, I refuse to spend any more money until some of the player concerns are recognized and addressed.

Transition is painful guys... I'm going through that right now w/ our current Kraft/Heinz merger.

I have an Engineering manager ( on the Heinz side ) who needs to employe a Kraft-side approved architectural engineering firm for OSHA/Regulations work... guess what? The databases have to be merged before Kraft or Heinz plants can use vendors in the other databases. A few weeks ago, said manager placed a request to extend ( pretty much duplicate the vendor information ) that architectural engineering firm's data in the Heinz database. Nope, gotta have 'em fill out another federal W9, Bank ACH form & 3rd party vendor form.. submit for approval w/ an Emergency exemption form appended to the request. Emergency exemption approved, but the Kraft-side approving manager says he can't approve it because he only approves supply-line requests... Weeks go by & he asks the request is sent to another Kraft-side approving manager...

tldr: All new stuff needs work. lots and lots of work and patience.

I'm still in the office, so haven't had time to update/log in to the game but from the screenshots, this looks like a web page. The good part about this is that GF now has the ability to modify that web page, the sales db, etc... previously, changes to the sales had to go through RW. So that's going to be a plus in the future. It sucks now because "Sales 2.0" is really RoM sales 0.1 alpha. Continue to give them feedback & let them work out their kinks. I know it's tough because we're all used to a different IS experience.

On another note.. I think GF could make that wheel hella fun...

1. Every arrow increases timer by 2 minutes
2. Every level up increases timer by 15 minutes
3. Level 1->2 cost: 1 diamond per arrow ( attempt )
4. Level 2->3 cost: 3 diamonds per arrow ( attempt )
5. Level 3 cost: 25 diamonds per spin
6. Level 1: Replace Mat with 1 free spin tile ( random 1-2 spins )
7. Level 2: Replace Mat with 1 free spin tile ( random 1-3 spins )
8. Level 3: Replace 2xMat with free spin tiles ( random 2-5 spins )

so..

if there are 4 arrows to get to level 2, you spend 5 diamonds to get 25 minutes for level 2 spins ( 5 spins to get to level 2 + level 2 bonus ); 5 diamonds to get here
Level 3 would get you 50 minutes ( 25 + 10 + 15 ); 20 diamonds to get here

now each level 3 spin would be 25 diamonds.. so your first level 3 spin would be 45 diamonds ( 6 more than the old wheel ); then 14 less per spin afterwards.

This new version is clearly not ready for release, even fail design aside. They should have released it after it is actually working.

I noticed that there is no response from GM's yet. Hopefully they don't go censor crazy just because we're not giving them positive criticism and instead expressing our distain for this new pos shop.

I'm glad my phone has a video capture option. I'm currently recording this thread as it grows and if stuff is unnecessarily deleted just because they want to silence us.... I'll have a copy of it.

I do very much agree with bone though. They have made it nothing but gambling as far as the will is concerned, and the fact that they made it a web browser rules out the use of add-ons to send multiple gifts which is going to be a hassle for players. It's also terribly slow, but from what it looks like I consider myself lucky as I am not one of the players and that is constantly greeted by the shop opening every time I port.

IMO they should put the new shop back for a little rework as it is right now it is super slow and doesn't seem to work well with addons. don't mind a change of interface, but please don't give us something worse then what we had.

Not sure if most remember but back on November 9 1989 they torn down a wall that divided their country. So why is Gameforge trying to rebuild the wall to divide them and their customers? Hasn't this already happened? Ch 4 people quit game in mass, Frog closed down and GF took over
Heck, or even just compare it to Ch 2 population and this game has maybe 1% of the population it had at the time, and game hasn't gotten better.

I make few posts on this forum, but I just have to add my opinion on this.

Navigation is nearly impossible for me. Items improper categorization, like xp/tp under housing, really? The fact that ruby and diamond items are all mixed together makes it hard to find anything. It would be real nice if they were separate tabs as they were in old IS. Also miss the item preview, I kinda like trying things on before I buy.

I have played many games with this type IS, and I really DO NOT like
this IS. This type is one reason I never bought anything from their IS,
because I can't find what I want when I want it.

Currently, everything I click on brings up the Error page. Good thing I'm only trying to review vs actually buy something. Then I'd be .

All I have to say is that I am incredibly disappointed in this new shop... Somehow I knew it'd be a disaster when it was announced..

Was planning to come back and play again but after reading all this feedback...GODDAMMIT ROM get your shit together...I'd rather have everyone mass quit and preserve RoM for what it was...a game with soo much potential...than to see RoM hemorrhaging till the last drop until even the dedicated players quit. I have never hated a company so much for what they have done.

Very disappointed in the current item shop changes. Will surely not be buying diamonds in any capacity until the whole system is fixed. As for the "Wheel of Destiny", what a joke.

I have removed my add-ons, and still trouble with item shop on and off. Had to gtry like 8-10 times to buhy an item. Pops up randomly. I have played since nearly the beginning, and Beta too. I know this will eventually be fixed, but I am serfiously getting fed up. And the resetting of purchase lvl in the wheel of amusement, what the heck? Are you guys TRYING to drive me away? I MIGHT return to play AFTER it is fixed.

item descriptions need to be better and correct a luck potion does not give tp bonus

interface pretty much everything has already been said only thing to add would be it's so bad it almost looks blurry

the delay issues need to be fixed badly

the wheel was bad before but still had a chance to get usable items but this one gives total junk not worth 5 diamonds and seems to lower the chances of getting anything useful let alone one of the prized +20 jewels

addon issues that's not on gf just have to rewrite or get rid of certan ones most have not been updated in years anyway

and if topup button is added to item shop can we have the diamond buying button removed from around the mini map

This just speaks the problems gameforge has with everything

A broken image "thumbnail", a description that has no information about what is inside along with a fairly absurd price for what is essentially a grab bag of "beginner" stuff.

The old wheel was bad enough, this new wheel needs to be burnt at the stake. It is incapable of stacking items, it will throw non-item shop items into a location where they can't go normally. The items go into your bag nearly instantly while you sit there and wait for whatever spin animation and notification to start. It is PACKED with useless crap for damn near anyone. On top of all of that you can only see what the "GRAND" prizes are, we can't even tell if we are being screwed (not that we need to, we are). The old wheel showed us the exact possible outcomes of spinning even if it was possibly weighted on the back-end in gameforge's favor.

Features of the item shop were flat out removed.
Categories are extremely broad, this makes them overly cluttered. The breakdowns from before were nice. Sometimes when you are looking for a specific jewl it was nice and easy to drill down to diamonds->upgrade ->armor so it isn't obscured by EVERY OTHER UPGRADE ITEM

Item previews don't exist. Who is going to buy a skin that they don't know what it looks like

Buying in bulk is limited to pre-set values only, and only on certain items. Want to stock up on those tambos? gotta buy 1 at a time.



Sure the item shop website is probably easier for you to manage than whatever itemshop tool runewaker gave you bot holy-moly loading screens just to look at the details of one item

If this is an attempt to get people to quit the game then its sure on its way...

I'm not sure what this new item shop was supposed to be, but the old one was 9000% better. I can't even search around on it without getting error time after time. What was wrong with the old setup? This one is just laggy and all around bad. I don't care about the wheel being changed, but that could have been implemented in the old setup as well.

Classic RoM, screwing things up.

Item Shop errors seem to be caused by 'Morphclock' This add-on is included in 'plantcare' and 'zzbar/TimeNDate' add-ons. Rename/Remove the 'Morphclock' and see if that helps. It did fix my problems...there may be other add-ons that also use 'Morphclock'.
