The main advantage of this is that the backend and design is all the same, "templated". This makes the management of the entire item shops easier as there is one place to change sales, change items available for all of Gameforge games (again, eventually). Gameforge now can change any design of the item shop or any part of its interface or behavior without the game's developer or even a server shutdown. Previously any major change to the item shop had to have the item shop "restarted", which also included the houses, guild castles, guild managements and Auction house. This would also lead to many other problems if this needed to be done.
Once again, thank you all for your honest feedbacks which will be forwarded to the product team.
But please let me explain one thing once again, New Item Shop is with us permanently and there are no plans to bring old item shop back. It is gone, sorry...
NEW item shop (name speaks for itself) was implemented to one of our MMO in practice for less than 1 year and its shop was the base of the new shop concept which allows us to do different configuration easily. We know some of you did not like the design but it always takes time to get use to see it.
I have now tried 26 of the 31 different resolutions available from the drop down in game and the 3 resolution sizes available from the configuration at the main log in screen. Not a single one of them increases the font in the item shop to a readable level for me: everything outside of the IS window gets bigger or smaller, elongated or stretched, moved to the left or the right, but e verything in the IS stays EXACTLY the same size.800*600 with window mode and UI scale checked, just like I have since I started playing RoM. Have no issue with font anywhere else in game or out. JUST the IS.Are you, by chance, letting them know just how angry we are about this? Figured I would post this in the font size of the item shop.Your feedback is being constantly forwarded on a weekly base.
Afaik, the shop display have a dynamic scaling if your resolution is bigger, if your screen is 1920*1080 or 800*600, the shop will have the different size. So YES new shop design has a new font but size depends on your settings. Which resolution/options do you use in ROM?
This explains your problem. As i said, new shop has dynamic scaling, please give one more chance to the shop in bigger resolution![]()

Haven't posted on forum for a while. -cracks fingers-

Hmmm I see numerous variation of the word easy get repeated over and over again by GMs.
So I was in a steak house the other day. Ordered a rump steak. Half an hour later the waiter came and put down a lump of raw meat on a plate in front of me. Said it was just easier for the cook if he didn't have to cook the meat.
Called a taxi after I left aforementioned steak house, because I don't own a car. The driver insisted that I walk home because it's just easier for him not to bother driving me home.
Arrived home to find that the new headset I ordered on amazon wasn't delivered. Called amazon and they said it was just easier for their workers not to pack and ship the item which I paid for.

~Aqualink was here
But if you want to adopt them to our situation, it should be the "waiter" >the postalman who brings you your orders< got changed not the "meal itself >the one you personally ordered<. I cant think of sending you a different item then you ordered because its easier
Same with your Taxi Driver story, i would understand the connection between the situation if taxi driver decides to change the seats of the car
which has no effect on your primary wish which is to be transported...I have now tried 26 of the 31 different resolutions available from the drop down in game and the 3 resolution sizes available from the configuration at the main log in screen. And just so you know, I sit approximately 2 feet away from a 42" HD 1080P monitor. It is not the resolution, it is the size of the font.
If making changes to the item shop is as easy as all y'all colors stated it is, change the size of the font. Please and thank you.
edit 2048*1536 accessed in game by hitting <esc> and then video/audio settings did enlarge it somewhat. The issue is, and this was brought up as a different bug way back when, it will not stay at that resolution after logging out and back in. Hell, it doesn't stay at that resolution after hitting apply and closing window. Any changes that can be made and saved can only be accomplished from the main screen.
Well it is nice to hear from players that they knew there was an item shop glitch and hundreds and probably more like thousands of illegally obtained items for free. But i guess legit diamond buyers have nothing to worry about, guess asking for a special diamond compensation to legit diamond buyers is out of the question.
Like i was wondering how some people could have Assassin/Sage/Tyrant X runes and sell them for 50M each when you need 4500 diamonds at 70K per would actually cost 315 Million gold to get. But it's fine , diamonds sellers are feeling so secure and think they really get all they can for their real money, good job yet again. Good way to help the economy of servers when you are actually trying to sell an item and someone has plenty of them at 6 times cheaper obtained illegally, this is just wrong.

Do you mind creating a support ticket with a screen shot? then it will be easy to understand and solve your problem, forum posts are not helping in such a cases...

Polog....
Ok then.. Let's try this a different way.
Am I the only one one the forums, who plays the game, that has issue with the size of the font?
From suggestion thread, I would have to say "No"
Am I the only one asking for increased font size?
Again, from the suggestion thread, I would have to say "No"
Has it been stated time and again, the new item shop is now easy to change?
From the many colors who have posted, I would have to say "Yes"
Then why are you fighting "us" on this. Make the change to the font size and be done with it.
If I take 22 screen shots, what will that accomplish other than drive support crazy? When you open the picture, it will be a reduced size
since the file can be only so large and only so many attachments can be made to any request. That makes ZERO sense. I have seen some of the screen shots people post on forums, and cringe trying to read the char names and those are larger than the fonts in the IS.
Oh, and Zid.. I don't need glasses. I have 20/20 vision, and have my eyes checked regularly.

When I first noticed this issue, and also the second time it happened (idk how no one else realized it) I went straight to IRC to report and confirm what was happening. Not a diamond buyers fault if their is a bug that benefits them, bug or not people buy things from the item shop so there was no exploit, just a simple bug that everyone was using to some extent, some without even knowledge of it.
