Universal Potion Cooldown

Does anyone else feel like the 30s CD on uni pot is a bit short? Esp. considering that phoenix has a 10 min cooldown. Imo, short CD on uni pot doesn't really add any value to either PvP nor does it really effect PvE that much. More than anything, in siege you can uni pot > phoenix > uni pot and fullheal yourself 3 times, once every 15s, which I think degrades PvP into a how-many-lives-do-you-have fest.

In a SW point of view yes its short and should be a long CD. as for doing like quest and stuff no becuase say your like down really low on heath. that potion could save u like 1 day worth at the library

yes and put 5 minutes cooldown on regenerate for priests, 10 minutes cool down on urgent heals and 20 minute cooldown on group heal too to make it fair. Just let people burn through all the universal potions they got and they will have no more and done.

We got those potions as a reward from the GM's or events etc and now you want to penalize people from getting them, great idea, give Gameforge another reason to make the community happy.

BTW there are a lot more ways for people in siege to heal themselves and if they full heal only 3 times , they are pretty bad, just saying. But i guess for that one hour a day we should nerf something else in game that will affect those who use them in instances, good idea for the other 23 hours of the day. :dash:

Agree with the OP, increasing the CD will not affect anything other than the fast pace of seige.

30s isnt so much in a boss fight, agree with longer cooldown. 1 minute maybe.

I wouldn't recommend giving those a longer cd as mana is already quite troublesome for wd and /wd combos. Also, the main difference between uni pot and phoenix is nix allows you to live through a 1 hit and having a lower cd on nix would be op in pve. As for pvp i have a hard time thinking about a moment a uni pot made a difference. when you have healers you either get burned or get healed.

In PvE you have phirius pots, vendor healing pots and crafted healing pots. The latter two are fairly decent if you don't run around in PvE with high hp (and if you have high hp, I don't see why mob dps would be an issue if you have phirius A or B's, since mobs don't hit very hard).

Uni pot CD should not be shared with mana pot - that should be changed. I recognize that phoenixes are easier to use than uni, but I don't think that difference is big enough that a uni pot's CD should be 1/20 that of a phoenix. Keep in mind that phirius pots, which have a similar short CD, cannot be used in siege at all.

Uni pots are more of a difference in midgame level sieges where you have mixed siege geared/non-siege geared players all trying to enjoy a siege together, with maybe 1 or 2 decked out siege geared/buffed person. Its not enjoyable for the majority of the players who don't have decked out siege gear, a full complement of buff alts and eggrice to try to take down 1 decked out geared person who has buff alts and perhaps eggrice as well, just to have them infinitely spam uni pots every time. It used to be an accomplishment for a group of lesser geared people to take down a strong player and was at least fun for both sides. Now that person will just uni pot until they wipe the floor with the whole group, then rinse and repeat when the group re-assembles for the next push.

Although uni pots are available to everyone, they do not benefit everyone equally. This would be fine if uni pots were rare, but they are not anymore. As discussed many times before, this game already doesn't cater enough to those that can spend $10-20/month to encourage them to stay, and this really just makes the issue worse. And at what benefit? What value does uni pot add to PvP? Uni pots also provide no profit either.
