discrepancies regarding knight class abilitys

ok, im pretty new here but as it wold appear, knight class abilities do a lot more damage that they say they do like strike of punishment for example, lvl 22 says it does 130 physical light damage, but i am hitting things of equal lvl for over 1000 dmg, so can any one please tell me how abilitys like "strike of punishment" and "punishment" actually work becaue lvl 30 Punishment says it does 300 + .13x stamina light dmg per seal, so me with 1413 stamina, 1413 x .13 = 183.69 + 300 = 483.69 per seal = 1934.76. how then am i hitting things of equal lvl for 4500+???

can any one tell me the REAL math behind these abilities?

I'm guessing it has to do with the damage formula, and the extra skill damage is possibly handled like the magical formula (flat damage added somewhere in the middle of the formula)? i'm honestly not sure since they changed some knight skills off of %dps to #damage tooltips.

check out this link for a discussion (and more links) about the physical damage formula.
my r/p can outdps r/m. your name is stupid.

The damage of your weapon is factored in somewhere too - more powerful weapons will increase your damage dealt.
