New age

Imo yall best bet is doing a merge and trailer at the same time with a solid promotion would be yall best option.

Just doing a trailer would be pointless people might come and check it out but than they will see servers are lifeless also they will notice it's not worth the time as the cost and the availability of ppl.

By doing a merge the servers will have more ppl, some ppl will come back and more activity.

With the promotion trailer and merge hit it hard give 200% Dia sale exp/tp on quest by 100% or more. Put happy hour on basically on all stuff, keep this up for about a week or two weeks.

Also Put All the specials in IS.

By coming this hard you will be successful in your plan by waiting till 2017 to decide on merge is bad idea it's not just 2 or 3 ppl that thinks this everyone who plays thinks this.

If your so adamant on 2017 than drop trailer in 2017 with merge trailer by itself is pointless ppl already know about rom from online and YouTube and ppl won't tell they friends unless it's worth it Go Big or Go Home.
And if you still won't do merge at least do a solid promotion like I stated above if not better tortoise is bs and not enough.

Basically a trailer alone is worthless it won't keep people here long enough I'm pretty sure I was clear game is to expensive and it's dead, imo prices should be lowered to but hey I doubt it.

Yes the price of needed items such as plussers, drillers need to be reduced greatly.

Thank you Muhamed. One of the first things I do before investing time in a game is find their forum and see what's happening. I wish you had told us this back in chapter 3 when I was a noob. I would have found something else to play. Please, keep posting discouraging stuff like this and scare off all the people that GF is trying to recruit.

Come on, people, don't you realize that this negativity in the forum hurts the WHOLE community, and far worse than any of the perceived damage you think RW and GF are causing?

Inother workds, if you are being constructive, just go away. If it is as bad as you and others say it is, why do you stay?

My intention is not to scare people away im simply telling the truth what im saying is facts not enough guild are running above 87 instance, the game is not cheap people have said this plenty of times.
I am simply addressing the rom letter III and saying trailer is not enough it would be if this was a new game but rom has been around for a while and this rom is lacking compared to back in the day if my memories serves me.
I am not here to write articles that will be published i am stating facts and addressing topics, if you cant understand what im writing idk what to say i have made it as simple as possible.
Im not saying this game sucks im just saying it lacks compromise, they wont listen to us and when they do it takes them 4 years.

Inother workds, if you are being constructive, just go away. If it is as bad as you and others say it is, why do you stay?

Here's something, maybe if they fixed the issues what would be left to complain about? Oh is that too constructive for you? Is addressing the issues with the game unsatisfying to you? Maybe we should just go on a massive recruiting spree to get as many people in as possible, just so that they can complain about the game too, then say they are being too much a negative nancy and enjoy the game with all of it's flaws that are holding it back, it's perfect the way it is guys LOL XXXXXXDDDDD

Here's why I tend to continue to lurk around every now and again in hopes of it changing (well this also includes seeing what zidlef is posting next), it probably won't, at this point it'll never change with people like you continuing to try to bury the issues because "Oh no someone is being negative about this game, better run while I still can!"

But hey, I wanna ask a simple question, and I want you to directly answer this one, why should I drop money into this when others do a better job of actually being entertaining instead of a massive timegrind to get anywhere reasonable?

I got tired of doing the same dailies over and over again to get anything, I got tired of doing the same mini-games over and over again just to get something that wasn't even worth anything anywhere, I got tired of trying to get into an instance only to have literally have to wait another run to have a chance to get the drops, oh sorry, everyone has to go right after the last boss drops! And then the next biggest roll of the dice was trying to enchant what gear I finally did get and actually wanted, only to have it never successfully hit +6 +70% time, then trying to go to the next level of enchantments to +12 and the same thing happened yet again. The extensive time that it takes is too much, and the extensive pay wall that's in it is too much to warrant me justifying purchasing ALL of what I would need to try to even break to enchant levels that are actually decent, in fact, even after having spent all that money, I can't sell it and get my money back nor my time, and it loses value over time because of in with the new and out with the old.

On another side note that really shouldn't even be I suppose, mohammed's grammar maybe off putting, I will admit myself that it is in dire need of a overhaul for him to get his point across easier, however he is right about the issues brought to the table, but people just seem to want to use that as a method to increase their post count.

Some very good points brought up so I'll try to avoid kicking a dead horse here. Many players are frustrated by what they perceive is a lack of focus on the real issues affecting this game.

The latest RoMmunity letter really illustrates just how true that perception may be. The recruitment issue has already been brought up so I'll skip that and focus on the stated three issues. The first point - not a single player I'm aware of could care less if you decided to call the last update a chapter or not. The second and third points are the end result of the persistent avoidance of addressing real player concerns. That is the real reason we see less and less people logging on every day.

Players have routinely complained the most about cost, class balance, instance mechanics and the availability of items in the item shop. We didn't ask for or need a new Item Shop. Didn't ask for or need a new forum format and we certainly didn't ask for or need a puri sale every other weekend. Fix some of the real issues. Work on class balance, make at least the normal mode of instances more accessible to everyone not just the big spenders and put the items in the IS that the players are asking for. Focus on the real issues and the population and recruiting issues will start to fix themselves. People will come back and they will start recommending the game again to their friends.

If you really want RoM to succeed, stop focusing on what you want to do and focus on how you can give the players what they are actually asking for.

Final thought: Dear GF and RW, please quit trying to blame everything on each other. We don't care. You're both in it together so just work it out and get it done. Nobody is buying the finger pointing thing, we never did.

Probably one of the best phrased comments on the problems with ROM. They only care about what they want to do and don't care about what the players want or need. Thank you for putting it so bluntly. Maybe now they will understand why they are losing people but I doubt it.

Over 50% of American's make less than $30,000 a year.. more of the gamers who CAN afford to spend approx $20 a month on a game would still be here if $20 did any damn thing but it doesn't.. the game is entirely to expensive and only a select few can afford to be remotely viable.... While there is no one putting a gun to anyone's head MAKING them purchase diamonds there is NO reason for lower class people to play this game when they can play similar (not as good) games and still be viable players spending nothing or small monthly amounts... We Need those players for the game economy.

Word, price cuts don't mean bankruptcy it just mean more cash flow since more people will be spending money.

I see yall trying with 140% dias every week but that's not enough we need the norm to be at least 200% and I promise you more people will spend.

More like 200% more without a sale.. and still have diamond promo's. And keep item prices the same... Or just lower the price of plussers/drillers by 400%

So if all p2p stopped selling dias would you still be f2p ?
Also no one has the amount of alts or time you have and most other endgamers have played the game since day one or used to buy dias and i know this as a fact.
Stop buying dias from ppl for 2 chapters or more and tell me how that goes
