"Know thyself" quest

Having problems with this quest. All it says is to aid the ailic's and get in touch with tannis bennet. Quest is from Kanches in Merdhin Tundra. I have both the seeds and the talisman that are said to be required to make his appear but he is still only in ancient kingdom of rorazan with nothing to say. I have tried abandoning the quest with no luck. This quest is also from the Morok line.

iirc, You talk to one of the nearby npcs to activate some kind of hologram thing, allowing you to talk to the quest npc.
