New player here

Hi everyone! I am just starting out, hopefully soon. I am doing patches atm, taking forever. I think they are almost up to date. Any how just wanted to say hello, and maybe get some insight on the game?

Thinking of going Healer, due to most games I played, there seems to be a lack of Healers and tanks. I noticed there is a multiclass function, do I need to worry about that now? or is that later on in game? either way, what would be my best bet to dual with Priest? thinking knight for the survival boost. Other then that, what is there I should know for a beginner? how are dungeons, raids, and etc in this game?

EDIT: will probably be awhile before i play, it finally patched, but now i cant log in due to account being suspended?
sent in a ticket, but not sure how long before i play, if its like any other game, ill play next year XD
made this account years ago but computer couldnt run the game. now i have a good computer, and now bull crap happens lol.

If you made your account years ago and never played, it might make sense to make a new account, also considering that there was a server merge and all inactive characters were not transferred to new servers. Make sure you select the right region, too. Yes, you should take into consideration the multi-class function now. Magio replied with this thread to another newbie about classes.

Make a new account. You get 3 of 6 classes for free. Play Druid/Warden/Warrior for heals.

The biggest advice i can offer is kind of crappy lmao. Regardless, my advice is to level your character on xp event(s) that way you can lvl your primary off main quest line and save all the side quests for your other side(s). Being new you may need help with zones Redhill and up. I'm sure anyone would be willing to lend a hand. i'm always lvling alts on xp events

For those that will say you will lack tp lvling that way: Yes it does do that. Keep in consideration that regardless of doing every single quest on your primary side, you will be lacking tp... like a lot. Either way lvl however you like since after you make money you can just blow it all on resets and get tp/xp.

Always do your dailies and mini games. You can get stats to sell from shells you get from said mini games. You can get CS items(transport runes mostly) from Andors *small chance*

If you are around during siege time or during the day around 3pm est *I think* you can do Tempest Heights, which also gives CS items and runes you can hoard for creating higher lvl runes for your gear.
