Chance of final server merge in US?

It's been awhile since I asked this question in the forums so I thought I'd inquire again to see if there are any updates regarding a possible final server merger of the US servers? If not, possibly there are other changes being discussed that would allow the movement of either individual characters or items between the two? Both servers are having supply scarcity and inflation issues that have become dramatically more pronounced just in past 8 months. Being able to, at the very least, perform trades across the servers should help to alleviate this to some degree.

at this point, what would be the point?
Even the last servor merge everyone was so happy about.. it lasted... what? About 6 months before everyone that came back, quit again..
REAL changes have to be made, not band-aids.

If we merge the last two servors together, you take away pretty much any sort of tiny bit friendly competition (albeit very tiny) that players possibly could have on mithras or erebos.. ie. first servor clears etc, siege wars etc.

You put both servors together, every endgamer probably will just merge into one or two guilds, and within months it will be right back to where it is now. 1-2 guilds running endgame, ( if at all).

Point being, nothing will change.

I tell everybody who asks, if they merge the last two servers together, it will be a sign of the end times. I am not in any hurry to get there.

It would delay the inevitable by a little while. However it would take a lot of work so it probably won't happen.

I'm not too worried about server merges, and im even less worried about the servers shutting down/closing.

after they merge the US servers, if they deem the population too low, im sure they would just merge us into one of the lower population EU servers. it only makes sense to me. why would they cut off people willing to pay money?

bonus to being merged with EU servers: we would finally get the fair treatment and prices that people have been begging/whining for forever.

so no im not worried about us getting shut down. the server merges will happen when they happen. And the people that still play consistently will keep playing consistently, regardless of what server its on.

erm... what? there is 0 difference with the prices between servers, and honestly its arguable that players on eu get treated better, maybe the de side of things, but imo rest of the other communities are treated worse then US, at least you have active gms here :P

well perhaps I've been misinformed, but the point still remains:there is little chance of them shutting down us servers. I'm positive that they will merge us with a different country. and the people that want to play will keep playing once that does happen.

I love the US servers and community, as well as mich love for the GM team that do their best to help us out when how they can. I'm sorry if it came off to the contrary.

The only price that GF sets is the price of diamonds and the prices in Item Shop.

Prices on the AH are set by the players.

Price of diamonds for sale, in game, is set by the players.
