Stat points get assigned for you automatically when you level (and it's not that significant to begin with). Upgrading gear is where you get most of your stats. For rogues I'd say dex > stam > str, where dex is highest and str is lowest. What the exact ratio is depends on what you think you need most at the time... in some cases you may want your dex to equal your stam, but stam should never exceed dex imo. Str is always given last consideration... it's just a good stat to stack when you don't have a decent dex stat

Hello, just need to clarify, You said:

How To (Skill Usage)
Ok this is for Short fights aka questing, dailies etc.

Find a Target in bow range from you.
Premed-->Shot-->Vamp arrow-->Shot-->Blind Spot/Shadowstab-->Low Blow-->Wound Attack-->Low Blow. If your target is not dead you'll be out of energy so use the first 3 skills in the combo till your energy is back finish off with a low energy skill.

Do you mean Blind Stab, not Blind Spot? As I don't see how you can attack a mob from behind with your rotation.

Its very easy to just jump behind your target, or run through him while using blind spot it will go off.

Hehe, once you're geared (even with 2-stat stones) I'd say premed -> low blow. And if the mob isn't dead by then, do low blow again. Much faster than going through an entire combo

Hi i was wondering (stupid question maybe) if the R/S can kill any other class and class combo in PvP? Also if i picked a PvE Server like Artemis is there no other PvP other than duels and arena? No PvP Instance, Battles, PvP Areas, etc? Thanks

Yes; r/s is one of the better pvp combos according to the most recent QQ posts.

There's also guild siege that is cross-server, so if you're on a pve server you can participate in that.

There's arena/battlefield, but I've never tried it and heard it's bugged. Then there's duels. You can also put up PK status if you want to be randomly attacked by anyone in the mood for pvp.

Don't know anything about r/w in pvp, so I can't compare the two :/

Couple of questions.

When Shot is up, when do you use it? When you are out of energy, or just as soon as it pops? That being said, is there a good macro setup for that?

Also, are there any needed macro/addons to play this class combo to the fullest, in the end game?

The CD on Shot is low, so there's no waiting for it to be "up". I personally spam it sporadically between skills to avoid global cooldowns, and that improves my dps. If you're out of energy, then you should definitely use it. And don't use it when you're using energy thief because your dps would be a lot higher just spamming low blow, wound attack, and the occasional shadowstab just before wound attack is off cooldown. When you've played r/s enough, you won't even have to worry about when to spam Shot; it'll be like a reflex lol.

As for macros, none are needed. Maybe you can set one up for switching bows if you decide to have both a tiered and statted bow, but again it isn't necessary.

New the game in general here. I noticed that the guide really only talks about gear after level 55. I am only 15/14 right now. Should I just save my money until I get to 55 then? Can I solo and level up on on quest gear until then?

Yes, you can level up and survive on questgear and mobdrops all the way up to endgame instances, where you do need to start transmuting gear (need to read guide on that also) but don't have to worry about that until you get there.

I think I am going to write up a more recent gear/stat guide for Chapter 4 seeing as how I am end game geared now and doing GC hardmode and SC runs daily testing my dmg. Give me a few days and I'll post up a new thread with my experiences and insight and we can discuss it there. I will try to make it from the perspective of a 55 coming into the new content and how you want to gear up and what to do in order to do it.
