D/N questions...

So I rolled a D/S because I already have a Priest and I wanted to heal another way, and I liked the D/S elites, but I was looking on the RoM database and I saw the D/N elite "Grace of the Forest". That seems like a REALLY powerful buff. Someone also commented that it can't be raised? If that's a bug, then I think the D/N is the best healing combo. Right? Comments? I might reroll if that's the case. Lol.

Druid/Scout is better for healing... The one buff for Druid/Warden is nice, but that's it, except for extended recovery... But I just rerolled my 55/54 Druid/Warden to a Druid/Scout a few days ago and it's a definite improvement in healing ability, especially because of Healing Arrow.
Karne - Reni
Was 55/54 Druid/Warden
Now 55/4xDruid/Scout

Um...wtf is D/N? There is no class that starts with "N" You talkin bout the Warden?

Since there is already a "W" class, thw warrior, seems like many have taken to using either Wd or N for Warden.

Yeah, N doesn't make much sence to me either, but they couldn't really use W, R, or D, and Warriors still have A. Leaving I guess E or N.

I just use Wd.

D/S definitely best out of druid healing classes, no question lol.

15/15 Camellia Flowers is a rather nice skill in my opinion (stacks 3 times AND heals per tick, what's not to love)

20/20 is not bad, i think it has potential
Healing arrows definitely seems beneficial, sure it doesn't heal for an extreme amount but adds a lot more to D/S as an off-healer
A mana restoration? YAY!

15 total NP from the 45/45 elite, that is just cruel to the other druids
50/50 makes camellia heal for more, longer, AND may restore NP when effect ends... makes camellia even better!

not even comparable to the other druids

A P/K
An R/S
A RoM Addict

Same with wardens really. They didn't even try to make all combos comparable.

D/S ARE the 'OP' build of druids lol, but that doesn't mean you can't have fun with the other builds. In fact, isn't that what playing a game all about?

I rerolled a Druid/Warden for a small period of time (after rerolling back to my original Druid/Warrior, and no that isn't a typo :D) and its a great build.

1. You get a MAGIC DAMAGE buff. +97 mdam at skill level 55. That's an extra tier to endgame staves. The mages in my party with t10 Void Staves were basically buffed to have near t11 void staves. It's definitely an OP buff, and it stacks with other magic buffs such as Essence of Magic and Embrace of the water spirit.
2. grace of the forest isn't bad at all. if you have at least 1NP, you'll get +10% mana and +6% heals, i was single target healing for 8.7-9k salved easily (with t9 Forgotten staff)
3. Essence extraction is great for getting NP quick
4. Healing Ripple's targeting is similar to mother earth's fountain, but heals the primary target for nearly as much as restore life. it's good to use if you don't want to slack on healing the main tank but need to heal 2 nearby party members as well. Great to alternate with MEF
5. the lv50 elite looks very interesting, it's either a pet or some kind of buff that group heals (numbers indicate it to be a strong group heal as well, close to priest level) for 40 seconds. Pretty decent NP cost as well.

>keep in mind that there is one elite that nerfs the HoT effect of recover, so it'll tick for a bit less, but last the same amount of time as blossoming life. this is a mandatory change if you want to get higher level elites, and IMO was one of the only drawbacks I saw on druid/warden. Another drawback is the near-uselesness of most of the warden side general skills (elven amulet being the most useful imo, which is not saying much since druid side already has the better protection spell and rock thingy. IMO pick this build for the elites, and the elites are great.

I switched back because I was just more used to maximizing the Druid/Warrior's potential and didn't want to become a n00b on a new build, but D/N is an excellent build, definitely underrated IMO. bit weaker hots, but they last longer and grace of the forest makes them better still, and single target heals land HEAVY with said buff. not to mention the totally overpowered mdam buff D= the mages in my guild are half-not speaking to me for rerolling out of the build :/

When you use the fruit of forgetting, does it preserve your secondary's level? How are you switching so easily from D/W to D/N and back, may I ask?

hey there, I know this thread is old, but I got some questions about Grace of the Forest, I'm a lv. 60 Druid/Lv. 45 Warden.
Today I got Grace of the forest elite skill.
okay, so far so good, I know this buff is stronger with nature power, so I fully charge my NP
I cast my first heal... and it results that the amount that increases is too low...
g.e. from 11k - 11,500k I heal, it only goes up to 11,5k-12k
if my calcs are right, if it increases 10% it should increase at least 1,1k - 1,5k
not 500hp...
whatsmore, in the icon description it reads:
"Increases your mana by 500 and healing by 3% for 1800 seconds. Also, when you have Nature’s Power it will increase your maximum mana by 10% and healing by 3%."
:/
so I wanted to know, wtf is that? is this a bug? is it broken?
ty if u answer :)

The heal multipliers aren't particularly intuitive. They add a multiplication somewhere into the equation; however, they don't necessarily increase the entire heal by that amount. In particular, many multipliers like this buff increase the part of the heal coming from your MDam and Wisdom by that percentage but not the part of the heal coming from your Healing Power Increase Points (the bonus on healer gear).

imho d/s is probably the best healer in the game.

now i am slighly bias but i do frequently out heal priests endgame

as for elites when used properly they are all very potent.

15/15 Camillia flower- potent hot very useful

20/20 life guide - heals u while u heal others <-- fav skill ever

25/25 healing arrows - group hot = awsomeness

30/30 group exorcism - group cure removal <- very useful in instances

35/35 warm spring - mana regen <- at this point sucks not enough regen

40/40 mother earth's belssing - restore np and adds healing bonus for next 3 skills cast <-- useful during boss fights

45/45 brilliance of nature - allows u to have 15 points np <-- great advantage

50/50 spring fower eulogy - incears CF heal by 1 sec, adds burst heal at the end, has a chance to restore np, but makes skill % mana consuption based

the last one is the topic of much heated debate. i personally have the skill and use it frequently unless the boss is mana degen then i dont just to be cautions. however that choice is up to you. if you do take it wait till u have a decent mana pool to pull from. somewhere near 25k should do u that way u dont kill urself while you are casting other spells
