Druid Attributes V Priest attributes

Druid Attirubtes as stated in the Class area of the main site;

  • Strength: 7
  • Dexterity: 10
  • Constitution: 11
  • Intelligence: 13
  • Wisdom: 13

And now for the Priest;

  • Strength: 14
  • Dexterity: 14
  • Constitution: 18
  • Intelligence: 26
  • Wisdom: 28

So, the priest has Double the strength of Druids, slightly more dex, about 55% more Con, Double the Intel and over double the Wisdom... Am i the only person who sees something wrong with this? I think its time to Buff Druids.

Priest heals have wisdom caps. And base stats are pretty pathetic once you start statting at 55.

Not as far as I know, unless that's changed since chapter 4. Which is why druids can stack much more wisdom than priests and it'll still increase their heals. After a certain amount of wisdom a priest gains almost nothing--one heal is capped at 4k, one at 7k, and after that, only Regenerate gains more bonuses from wis. The increase is minimal enough to ignore, for priests, since Regenerate is not a strong heal to begin with.

But even with the supposed Cap, the rest of the stats leave a lot to be desired, druids can barely do damage, get some of the weakest armor made even worse by the low stam and str scores and get hit all the time because of the nonexistent dex.

The wisdom is capped for instant heals. There is no cap for HoTs. So healing druids can stack more wisdom since they use a lot of Hots beside the instant heals.

Priest

  • Strength: 7
  • Dexterity: 10
  • Stamina: 10
  • Intelligence: 13
  • Wisdom: 14

Druid

  • Strength: 7
  • Dexterity: 10
  • Stamina: 11
  • Intelligence: 13
  • Wisdom: 13

Thtse are the values from the page of the respective class...

How does that differ from priests? O.o.

-Priests suck at damage, even moreso, because we have less skills to do damage with.
-No casters have enough dex to dodge all the time, unless they stat for it, which imo is pointless.
-Why exactly are you looking for cloth armor with strength on it? You're a healer, not a warrior. Priests have the same choices for cloth.

Did a comparison with another druid
My wisdom is 4.5k => MEF is 12.5k
Another druid with 7k wisdom had a MEF of 13k
So i'm not gonna stack more wisdom for that 0.5k extra....

Blossom ticks for 2.4k ea (can raise it to 2.7k with some buffs)
Recover crits 55k and ticks 4.2k (can raise it to 62k and 4.6k)
=> are very good ticks (don't forget a d/wd has recover ticking longer = lower hp ticks)

So he is fully statted with stam/wis/def and i'm half statted (still got room) with stam/int/matt (with 1 or 2 wisdom in it)
=> I can do very nice dmg and he doesn't

I can only say => play a real druid (heals and kick ass)
Erythri D/Wd (72/58): updating (unb 64k hp/ 52k matt/ 125k critheals) a true druid ;)
Below buffed, but still missing => 10% matt from pet, Light Fluffy Bread (15% +4k matt), essence magic, p/s buff

The base stats no longer matter once you start stating gears with +70 stats.

However what I upset about Druid vs. Priest is Druid's General Skills, most are crappy compare to Priest General Skill
