Questions regarding a few class combos

Hello all!

I registered a while ago but have not really played ROM that much but I am deciding to get back into it for some casual fun. I had a few questions regarding 2 of the class combos but input on others is acceptable.

I generally play tanks in the games I play (I enjoy it the most, and people tell me I do an excellent job doing it).

I generally also like to play the really indestructable tank that just keeps on going and going and going either through damage > heals or straight heals (DK in WoW, Justicar in RIFT). That pretty much lead me to the Warden/Warrior and the Knight/Priest. I also like to be useful in PVP as well either through holding points, CCing people, or just straight up killing. I do not like being the secondary tank though so would prefer something that is capable of tanking anything thrown at it (even if it takes some work/skill to do).

I also like proving to people that you can be a great tank even when your given second rate tools (I did Justicar before it was changed to be decent yet did surprisingly well especially with threat before the threat buff).

A well geared K/P or P/K can do wonders. And in siege, P/K may not be able to do damage, but being hard to kill and healing people near you who can do damage makes your role a crucial one.

In European version of romcast, they mentioned that Knight is a class to get the next round of balancing changes, so who knows what will happen. Currently our guild knights are not too happy with the class, but with rebalance, they are likely to be buffed more than nerfed.

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.

I'd suggest you do a K/P or a K/M. K/P is one of the hardest class combos in the game to level, but it pays off because it is one of the hardest class combos to kill. K/M is known to be the bottomless mana pool and has an aoe slow, but it plays kind of wonky. The best damage from a knight would have to be K/R. A good balanced PvP and PvE tank is probably K/S, lots of taunts and ranged attacks. Wd/W is still being explored as far as tanking goes. It seems to have potential but still not sure.
