Best Knight secondary for tanking

I know there are many posts and stickies for this (all which are years old) but which secondary is better for tanking: priest or warrior?

I have access to both and they seem to each have their pro's and con's. Which combe would be the best for farming and dailies when I am not tanking? I am thinking warrior (which is what I use now for dailies). I am far off from tanking end game instances so a vets analysis would be appreciated before I start dumping TP into skills.

Thanks!

The stickies are still stickied after a couple years cause they are still pertinent. Nothing really changes in this game, unlick most games where things and information can get outdated eventually. In the world of RoM, stagnancy is king!

The reason the info is not outdated is because next to nothing has changed for the Knight class. If they ever do the Knight update (rebalance) that might change things a little. As for a secondary Most go with Warrior/Rugue or Scout (not in any order). Knight/mage and K/priest can tank but they aren't as popular.
I reject your reality and choose my own instead!

Though I personally loved my K/M, the 12% damage reduction at all times (including against bosses) was incredibly nice!

yes it is, also you can potentially have unlimited mana as a K/M if you set up your skill rotation correctly.

Well judging by OP's post I am going to assume you are a k/p/w since he/she has access to priest and warrior classes along with knight. So I will refer you to this thread --> http://forum.us.runesofmagic.com/showthread.php?t=61386 for your specific combo....

/Scout gets the most base attributes and a second slot for hatred runes due to the additional item, and the spot-skills are really nice. so aggro is pretty easy on your side with that one. has higher base damage on Holy Strike.

/warrior excels if youre strong enough to play with 2H-Axe using whirlwind shield macro, and the damage reduction skills are nice, whole lot of parry.

/priest is usually underestimated but probably the ultimate survivor (better -%pdmg shield skill, and the additional immune aura from the priest itself), and its aggro reduction buff excels with higher -%aggro already built in on your groups DPS because the more reduction they already have, it gets even more easy with your debuff on top ;-) (take 3 runes a 24% + 25% of your buff and the DPS will only do 3% of their initial aggro)

/rogue is a bit like warrior, excels when you can play with a second weapon instead of a shield, but with a lot of dodging instead of parrying. has a fixed critrate on Holy Strike.

/mage - dont have experience at all so i cant comment.

TL,DR: Every combination makes a good tank if you know what you're doing, so choose what fits you best.
